I have started a new game a few days ago and still some what early in the game, now the first level wolf gear diagrams look to be at Kaer Morhen, but you will be at a level far beyond the need for it by the time you get it. Also to be able to buy the first map you should be at about level 24 to do the quest before you can buy stuff from Hatori. They need to put all of the gear in an area that you can get to it when it will still be of use to you.

i'm thinng the same as well. but then again, i'm gonna try all other stuff before i get to kaer morhen.

Press "Esc" and select the "Tutorials", under "Additional content" all DLC is listed and tells you how to get it.

What if my tutorials section doesn't have dlc section although they're installed?

I dont get why they place the level 14 diagram in KM, you dont get there until your early level 20's. Is it that powerful?.

No, this gear not even close to Lynx school armor set + Bear school swords combo.

If you have DLC installed it will be in the tutorial, it is not under "DLC" it is under "Additional Content", it is the very first section on the list.

There is no such section in my tutorials either.

Anyways I've completed the Wolf gear, I've been missing one map from a vendor. because there's no vendor anymore, but I've found schematics without the map (but with help).

Personally I like it, it's a bit better than griffin gear, though I miss cat's school attack bonus. And looks best of all witcher gear sets, besides the starting one.

well this is a gross blunder from them to put a level 14 basic armor in a place that you cant get there at least before level 24 so that turn the first and maybe second armor basically useless at least make a fast travel to KM so we can do the quest for the basic one and for sake of story line make the door close to KM bacause i think is outside KM the quest,
still i would have loved to craft that armor but I am not going to rush thru the game to get it.

Very disappointing tbh.

nothing in the game is setup properly,everythings out of whack,lousy trophy bonuses and terrible concoctions,and the witcher gear is out classed all the time by found loot.

Sorry but you are wrong. Master crafted witcher gear beats all other gear. And if you go on the hunts for the gear at or slightly below the level they beat the other gear.

Yep mastercrafted witcher gear is the best you can get.

But yeah it's weird that parts of the wolf gear are not accessable when they'd be most useful. Not the best of choices.

I just crafted the master lvl Wolf Gear, it's quite good. If you want the gear so bad, do the main quest up to "Ugly Baby", and once you unlock Kare Mohren do the two treasure hunts. You can leave Kare Mohren at any time once the area is unlocked. So leave Kare Mohren, craft your gear, and go back to doing all the side quests.
