I cannot complete this quest! I can make the potion and equip it, but when I use the potion nothing happens,
I have reloaded 3 times, used the potion both inside and outside the witcher sense area, followed an example posted on You Tube and am now beginning to think this is a bug. I have version 1.12.1 installed

Yep, it is a bug, seems to be somewhat rare though... One user fixed it by reverting to version 1.11 (see here).
