I need some help. Ever since I got my GTX1070 my Witcher 3 won't launch. I get access violation error then a can't find location with long code ending in 07c. I tried verifying the files and the game still won't launch. I have tried Google for a solution as well and didn't find any.

No other GOG games give this error only Witcher 3. I tested many games with my new card and they seem to work.

Edit: I ended up reinstalling and patched up to 1.08 and tested. The game now launched and played.

Disable (uncheck) GOG Galaxy's overlay in settings.

Had to reinstall. Between reinstalling GOG GALAXY and reinstalling Witcher 3 something made the game work again.

The overlay wasn't checked. Apparently it was a c++ error which repairing c++ did not fix but reinstalling the whole game and GOG Galaxy did fix.

Check the overlay settings. If it's disabled after the reinstall, odds are that was the problem. It was a known issue: Galaxy is buggy.

I will check. Just waiting for the game to finish updating. Even when I deleted GOG GALAXY and run from the game exe it still refused to launch so not sure what the issue was.

It's like another game I had. Fifa Manager 12. the game refused to work after the patches because of telemetry.dll. I got that game to work by taking the telemetry.dll from the disc and pasting in the game folder.

I have small issues with my windows 7 since reinstalling it and I suspect it's the graphic card driver because performance is all over the show. Either that or there's a memory leak because I always end up restarting so get performance up again.

Edit: Checked Gog galaxy and overlay was off. I think the game itself was corrupted.
