So, i remember starting the game and was able to play gwent in White Orchard but it seems its not possible anymore. And i really wasn't interested in playing Gwent back then because i didn't know what the hell was going on but now almost 50+ hours of playing i have found myself intrigued. So any chanche of getting those card that i would've won there i heard they planned on releasing a patch that you can get them elsewhere or something like that so is it patched yet or i have to get them in another playthrough?

The only person you can play Gwent with in White Orchard is the scholar in the inn. He introduces you to the game. You can buy cards from the innkeeper. If you miss the cards they can be picked up later in the game. Specifically, the one unique card is Zoltan Chivay, who you win from the scholar. He can be picked up from under the Hanged Man's tree when you first get to Velen.
