Well i'm curious, just wanted to play witcher 3 and when my firewall asked me, if it may gain internet access i thought "why would it need that anyway, gog-galaxy patches it and i don't need any online achievements" and clicked on "no".
But the witcher prompted me with an error that it "stopped" working after that.
Starts with internetaccess though without any problems. Galaxy tells me that i have version 1.11 of witcher 3.
So GoG, why the hell does this game need an active internetconnection for singleplayer?
