Hi guys,

so after multipple attempts to download and re-try instalation files for Witcher 3 GOTY I still get the "Integrity check failed" message, when instaling the game. I understand that it means the listed files are damaged (I know how integrity check works), but I have no idea how to get "working" files.

Files that fail integrity check:
setup_witcher3_en_goty_2.0.0.51-3
setup_witcher3_en_goty_2.0.0.51-4
setup_witcher3_en_goty_2.0.0.51-6
setup_witcher3_en_goty_2.0.0.51-8

Tried to donwload multipe times, on Windows 7 64bit, via Mozilla Firefox 48.0.2 or Opera 12.12 (older 32bit version).
neither works for me.
Should I skip integrity check and pray for the best? Do you have simmilar problems?
I'd really like to avoid installing GOG Galaxy.

Thanks!

Do not 'pray for the best'. Use the GOG Downloader.

Trying it now - thanks, English widows installer file is for some reason always paused and doesn't start downloading, but'll try to figure out where is the problem :-)
Hi,
I got the exact same issue, same parts. Have you managed to find a way around it? Has GOG Downloader helped?
Thanks,

I'm having the exact same issue with the exact same files. Bought the game today, decided to support this company.

I've downloaded the game with the Gog Galaxy client, twice. Then once with Chrome.
Now I'm downloading with Free Download Manager and see if I'm successful.

Made big post about it summing ip what is going on - it seems those files are just corrupt and only reupload would fix it: see "Witcher 3 GOTY Files on GOG broken and not woking (FILE INTEGRITY problem)"
I'd rather think the download servers are on heavy duty and the packages get screwed.

Happened on release of the main game as well IIRC.

Unkalibriert: I'd rather think the download servers are on heavy duty and the packages get screwed.

That could be also the case, but I always get the same packages screwed no mater the computer, browser, time etc. That is what is weird to me.
If I were CD Red I would just put a .torrent with the game files. Since they they don't have a DRM policy it's not like it would bother them.
The BitTorrent protocol works best for this.
And on top of that, they would not need a hosting server. Just an initial big upload rate, and then let the Internet do the rest.

I think most users that play CD Red games, downloaded from torrents, end up buying them, since their games are so well crafted and most users want to support.

Just so that people do no misunderstand me. I own all 3 Witcher games. But I believe the BitTorrent protocol could do wonders for CD Red.

UPDATE:
Guys, I've downloaded the files in question with Free Download Manager, and did the setup thingie, and the same error pops-up.
These 4 files must be corrupted.
This needs to be fixed.

Summing up what happened to me:
getting corrupt files from bot GOG (manual download) and GOG Galaxy backup download.
I tried to prevent downloading corrupt files by using GOG Downloader and as you can read in my post "GOG Downloader keeps pausing - Witcher 3 GOTY", that is also broken and files doesn't even download. (Is constantly paused.) We tried to fix it with tech team (Thiev and JudasIscariot) - nothing helped.

In the end I just said f*ck it - let's try to install it without file integrity check:
And instalation fails with code: -3 reporting that installer files are damaged (not a surprise.)

Contacted tech support with all details, now we have to wait I guess.

I have the exact same problem here, part 3, 4, 6, 8 won't pass the integrity check. I downloaded these files 5+ times, no luck so far :(

I hope that they'll fix it soon

I'm checking the files I have locally right now, if they are OK I will simply reupload them.
If they turn out to be corrupted though and the whole setup have to be rebuilt, it won't be done before tomorrow. I apologize, but it's not something I can do remotely on my own.
