Hi guys,
bought the game 3 days ago and still cant play it like i should >.<
When i play, there's coming a pop up saying 'the program does not run correctly because of a problem' (google translator).
I have to close the window then and when i restart, this happens about 10 times. Afterwards i can play for another 10min or when im lucky even half an hour. Well, it's not that much fun and i definetly dont want to keep it like that. :s
I already tried to play in various 'display' option, different 'resolutions', tried nearly all options proposed of the support and even deinstalled and reinstalled the game completly. Still doesn't work and i never read of similar problems.
Has anyone an idea what i could do?

Does that error popup tell you any error ID (number)? Don't really know what error that is and the translation isn't specific.

Well no, thats the thing. It just says that it's not running correctly and it's searching for a solution. Therewhile i have to close it and the system will tell me when it has a solution, what didn't happen now. I could send you a screenshot of it, but in german tho^^

It says:
'The Witcher 3 doesnt work anymore
The program doesnt perfom correctly because of a problem. The programm will be closed and you will be noticed, when a solution is available.'

That's a generic Windows error, can't be sure what causes it.

"A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available"

Your GPU doesn't actually meet the minimum requirements and maybe this is caused by that. GTX 660 is minimum and it's actually faster than GTX 750 Ti.

Maybe this thread has a solution:

Well but it actually all runs fine. I dont have lags or sth and my fps are also quite good actually (idk now). And it happens randomly.. Sometimes i can play an hour and it pops up, sometimes it happens after 5minutes.. So this shouldn't be the problem, am i right?


(Btw. i also read that it's possible to play with GTX 750 TI, of course not at the best, but okaaay)

You could check event log with event viewer if it records anything useful when it crashes the next time but unfortunately I'm running out of ideas. It's difficult to narrow down the problem without any specific errors. It could be something as simple as making sure you have the latest graphics drivers but it could be something entirely different.
