i hope it plays before the geralt of rivia saga, where witchers were in plenty of numbers, maybe even more difficult foe's and co-op? maybe a world of witchers lol ( but without subscription ;D )
I hope they will tackle something new, a new fantasy franchise, like with Cyberpunk...
I would love to see a party based RPG from CDPR using the Malazan Book of the Fallen for example...

sariaen: The story in the books is considered the canon. The game created by CDPR takes place after the events in the books. It is not considered the canon story :P At least that is what Sapkowski, writer, said in one of his interviews.

As for Witcher 4. I hope they will leave the game as is. Maybe provide a few expansions. That is all. Witcher 4 would be milking and raping the franchise and most probably would leave a bad taste. Current game provides a nice closure to the whole adventure and I would rather leave it there before something goes wrong. We already have ongoing series like Assassins Creed, Call of Duty etc. Are they anything out of ordinary? They should focus on a physical Gwint game :P
I'd love a game where I can create a character with personality traits.. maybe a witcher, maybe a sorcerer (-ess), maybe a common soldier or a Dwarf, or anything of the like. It would add to a dynamic world. I like Geralt, but I'm not convinced everyone likes playing as him, and getting the opportunity to play an adventure (even a team adventure al a Baldur's Gate) in this setting would be nice.

NasherUK: Not sure. I think they have only covered 2 or 3 of the books. Theres about 7 in total I think :O

I agree, I would prefer new franchises from CDPR rather than another Witcher game (much as I love the trilogy).
Better to leave it on a high note than try milk more from it by serving much of the same. Assassins Creed: Sniper Zombie X; Anyone? (hollow echo into infinity).

Awaiting Cyberpunk.
I hope there will be a Witcher 4 with Geralt as the main character. Geralt is THE Witcher of the series. I've not ever played such a fantastic game.
Geralt as a supporting character would work, i suppose.

I don't want a Witcher game anytime soon, nor the developers are interested in making a Witcher game anytime soon, the series is not dead, but don't expect anything after Cyberpunk.

Witcher Geralt Story ended on Witcher 3, the next Witcher game wont have a 4 on it's title, and wont be worked on anytime soon.

The developers are tired of Witcher, been working on it for decades, they should just focus on other games for the coming years.

My God, a game set during the Wars of Conquest/Early Empire would be amazing! Or the Tiste invasions!
But I can't imagine anyone ever doing Warrens well.

I'm not sure about that. Rashan for example would be only a grey overlay. Also wizards usually draw from their warren and rarely enter them. Kind of like the fade in Dragon Age. I think it's definitely worth considering and it would provide a huge diversity of races and lore compared to the standard elf/ork etc settings.
The end of Witcher 3 was the end of Geralt's story. CDPROJECKTRED wants to focus on new things to have a change of pace, so Cyberpunk2099 will be CDPR's next Adventure/RPG. Witcher 4 isn't out of the question just not anytime soon and it would star a different character such as Ciri or will take place in the past.
It's likely, but maybe not about THE Witcher, who is Geralt of Rivia. Future games located in the same universe of The Witcher would be very interesting, until they don't break the original lore too much.
Yes and this time I want him to morph into a cool looking white wolf awoooo! I'm for real!

Actually they can stay with witcher 3 and add payed expansions. *cough*cough* White wolf *cough*
We need a better computing solution for less money; that way we all could enjoy witcher 3 in its full glorious graphical potential.

That would totally suck, since he can't do anything like this in the books.

Sure, sometimes they do, but luckily that's not the kind of game CDP is doing.
