The wet dream of all imposters: Get any achievement they don't deserve. Cheaters like you make achievements completely worthless. Pathetic.

Muhahahahaahahaha! But you want to have any achievement. Yes, yes, yes, I got it. Fufufufu. OMG. Anyway, it seems that you are not very eager to learn, so let me repeat it:

Cheaters are the pimples on the buttocks of the gaming community. They get worse with any new day. In the end they can't find their own buttocks without cheating. With both hands!

We are talking about HardColdGamer, but you didn't get it. A correct answer would read:

"For heaven's sake! Don't use 140 "mods", one is sufficient!!! Players who are not able to play a game as it was meant to be are overchallenged to cheat too in most cases. So use Glorious Victorious + , a wonderful "mod".

For timid and/or completely talentless players unable and/or unwilling to learn anything asking for cheats before the first start of the game I recommend the mod "Glorious Victorious +". After installation start the game and wait a few seconds, then press „1“ „2“ „+“ (without quotation marks!!!). No fear: You have 38 seconds to do so.*

This will lead you to the end of the game. You get any achievement available**, any gear etc. In a cutscene Geralt meets all friends and foes, and even some devs will appear – in disguise. They all praise Geralt and the artful playing of his master at the keyboard/controller. Then a bell rings.

Now you should shut down the computer immediately (!!!) because in the next moment the cast – without exception and as if by command – begins to chuckle.

* As far as I know there's a cheat which extends this period - 5 minutes, as far as I heard.
** This mod adds achievements! Popular: Striding Goddess for moving one step forward without losing balance. And there's a wonderful achievement sound, I promise.

This should help. Now restart the game and you can begin a New Game +. Any stats of your equipment are set to "infinite". Somewhat disturbing: There's a permanent background chuckle swelling after each kill. But there should be a mod at nexus ...
Good luck! Hope I could help."

You talk too much
But just so you know I'vee beaten the game without any mod on it on Death March
So I am able to play the aS iT wAs MeAnT to Be
But now that I'm replaying the game , I want to play it as I want ,
For instance , one mod i use add some vigor penalty for every action you make in combat , it changes the damage of the light attack wich are clearly overpowered , or change queen fx and so on and so on
And I'm not installing mod that make the game easier , the game is pretty easy anyway
Most of my mods are visuals the rest are for tweaks and patch and i used one overhaul (wich is the greatest mod ever made on the witcher i reallyyyy recommend it )
I used ghost mode which makes the game even harder but a waaaaay more funnier to play
But that's not the point
The guys ask one question :Will mods disable Witcher 3 achievements?
We don't care what you think people should play the game
Just anwer the question orshut your mouth (figure of speech)
You juste look that kind of guys who has nothing to do with his life
So instead of being pathetic , mind your own buisness
Because thinking that using 100 mods are for NOOOB, or cheater is just sad for you
Now stop embarrassing yourself and go live your life

OMG. So embarrassed, poor AG? This must be a soliloquy.

But I don't want to be stonehearted - I'm an empathetic man, really. You must feel like Anseis in B&W:

I really wanted to add my few cents

Not all mods are cheats
but all cheats are mods to some degree

example are COMMUNITY patches for games devs left
witcher 3 is one of those skyrim also
fallouts each one have a mod that is a huge patch for fixing bugs, script errors, ai, ui etc
this has no cheat affect or effect just fixes quests and issues that exist

another huge chunk of mods are cosmetic
HD textures or different hair styles and makeup etc
or wanting to romance everyone which is fun and isnt a cheat as you still must romance properly

yes yes there are tons of console cheats but 7/10 times these originally where there to fix issues
see fallout 3 4 etc
without scripts to fix people getting stuck under the ground or such the games would be unplayable

so saying Mods = cheats that is a very false statement.
some mods are.
but oddly most mods that are cheats run on codes the testers would use in debugger
see Dragon age 2 and DAI examples
course with this comes god and free money blah blah

but again take witcher, one mod is fast travel from anywhere... is this a cheat imo no its not
it blows to be forced to have a carry weight bog you down only to punch roll punch roll to the nearest STORAGE which btw NEVER existed until modders made it.. then cdpr added mini storage places HARD to reach most of them so the mod is much better

bottom line if someone is asking if mods or console will disable gog or steam achievements .. answer with knowledge if you have it. if not stay silent the flame war bait bs is just way to childish esp for gog
go back to steam forums to post this war!

still no answer to if the console or mods prevent gog achievements? I KNOW they do NOT in steam but this is new to me as gog never had achievements now they do

a few console commands I require just reset an area or 19 that are bugged still from launch of this game..
sigh
let us know properly danke

Lol, Mods equals cheats according to this guy. C'mon, learn something about mods before writing nonsense.

MaxStrauss: ..................
There was a time you were helpful around here. What the hell happened?

Obviously a modification to a game can be just about anything, which for the Witcher 3 mostly means bigger boobs, more naked women and various easy texture reshades. Sigh. But the modding scene also has very skilled modders that add real content to the game, like the person behind the Ghost Mode++ mods that was talked about above. Cheaty mods is a bigger thing for some games, but it really isn't much of a "thing" for TW3. The game is already pretty easy.

Heck, just looking over the mods I use (relatively few), none of them make the game easier, but several of them make it more difficult. Mainly Ghost Mode, which makes the game considerably more difficult, but also a few others. Mostly it's about adding or MODIFYING (hinthint) features, and fixing bugs. For example, I have a mod that DISABLES fast travel. Doesn't really make the game more difficult, but I am glad I tried it out, because it has greatly improved my immersion. Same with Friendly HUD. I can now play the game with NOTHING on screen, unless there is combat and some HUD elements pop up automatically. Makes for a much more immersive experience (see example screenshot). Then you have mods that fix small graphical issues, or inaccuries with the world map, or removal of some of the inane and frustratingly repeating voice 'chatter' from random NPCs (spitting every two seconds and the like). Preparations + Friendly Meditation has given alchemy a real role, the game feels more like Witcher 1, where this part of the game worked much better than in vanilla TW3.

All in all, it has made for a better game and gaming experience than the game CDPR provided us with. That is ultimately what modding is about. Tailoring the game to how you like to play it.

I still don't understand this question of achievement .. I guess it goes with this generation of girls and boys who LOOOOVE to make selfies and post it on Facebook, twitter, etc.

Guys : you play for you , not for your girlfriend, neighbors, .... !!!!
As a male, I'm pretty sure this stupid idea of "achievements" was invented by a Male :

"look : mine is bigger than yours !! " . Pathetic !! ah ah ah....

I have over 500h played on Witcher 3. Am I not allowed to use mods to make the game new-ish for me again? Pathetic :D
