Hello,

surprisingly I didnt find a satisfying answer to this question:

My harddrive died, can I restore my W3 saves from the cloud? If so, how?

Did you use GOG Galaxy while playing the game. The client automatically synchronizes save files on game startup and game close. Just install The Witcher 3 through GOG Galaxy and run the game. If you didn't use GOG Galaxy while playing the game however, probably you won't have synchronized saved unfortunately.

I used Galaxy while playing and I re-installed W3 with it as well. But when I launch the game I only see the option New Game... Maybe I have to start a new game and save once?

I don't think it'll help. Try to contact GOG Support. Maybe they'll help you recover your saves.
