buttcrasher: But I do want to share it ! With my daughter.....
Greetings ,
Peter
Ritualisto: I thought my answer is clear enough but it doesnt seem so. Read this:
3.3 Your GOG account and GOG content are
personal to you. You can gift GOG games and GOG videos to other people (up to a limit of 5 per day and provided the recipient doesn’t already own the GOG game/video being gifted) however this might differ on a case by case basis, but you can't sell them or charge money for them.

https://www.gog.com/support/policies/gog_user_agreement If you understand a bit of german here is an answer from GOG staff:
Moon-and-Star
" [...] Der wichtige Punkt ist das von mir fett markierte - ein GOG-Konto ist
für ein Individuum gedacht, nicht für einen Haushalt oder eine Familie, und die Spiele dieses Kontos dürfen zwar auf so vielen Geräten installiert werden, wie man möchte, allerdings muss dabei immer sichergestellt werden, dass auch nur der Eigentümer des Spiels auch Zugriff auf dieses hat. Das schließt Partner, Familie, Mitbewohner und Freunde aus."

https://www.gog.com/forum/general_de/spiele_von_gog_lanfahig/post8 So in short: a GOG account is for personal use only and not to share it with your household or family. Only the owner should have access to his games.
Hope now you can decide if you want to be holier than the pope or not. ;)
Hi ,
Yes In can read German my mother was ... :-)
This is WEIRD just got an official reply from GOG wich states the following :
===================
Hello, you can both play the same game on the same machine, it's completely legal (unless the laws in your country are explicitly against fair use, but I doubt it), and we won't restrict that.
The main problem will be with the achievements - they are tied to the account and can't be reset, so you will both get them without any separation.
the next one will be saves - the game uses autosave feature, but there are also manual saves - please make sure that you both save manually, in different files, so you won't overwrite your wife's progress and vice versa.
========================
Now Is seems I is legal but technically not possible to play really separated games on 1 PC .....
A new windows user would not solve the GOG account (registry settings?) thingy and the achievments ....
GOG is the launch platform for Witcher and also locally installed
This is really frustrating.
Well thank you all for your time,
Mit freundlichen Grüβen,
Peter
