I'm pretty sure the level designers respectively level builders are to blame here. Reinstalling the game or updating drivers won't solve the problem.

I come across those weird translucent textures floating atop of other textures pretty much all the time, everywhere, be it in Velen/Novigrad, Skellige or the smaller maps like White Orchard or Kaer Morhen. Most of the time it's horrendously obvious (like on roads, streets or trails in the wild) and sometimes you'll have to look a bit harder to make it out. But it's definitely there and you can see where the level designers/builders were in a rush or didn't feel like putting in the extra effort of accurately slapping textures on top of each other.

I'm fairly certain that this issue can only be fixed if CDProjektRed would do a complete overhaul of every goddamn street, road, trail, path, platform, ledge, floor, beach, sand bank, pavement, etc there is in the game.

Riiiight! Tell that to the hundreds of thousands of people happily playing the game without this issue.

Thank for the confirmation. People like this "hickory" thing are either blind to the faults of developers, or they are literally blind.
The texture problem is clearly there.

Cute. I expected better from a whinging, complaining troll.

AwesomeMallard: This graphical issue is the most noticeable in Novigrad; some streets look sharp, whilst some have this weird 'floating transparent texture' glitchy thingy.

My specs are:

-Intel i7-6700 3,4 GHz
-Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 (latest drivers)
-16GB of DDR3 ram (1833 MHz)
-Windows 7 64bit (service pack 1)
This is exactly my problem, but in the city of Toussaint. And I have also gleaming textures over the bridges.

The issue is due to the last video driver, even before the last patch to the version 1.22.

I'm using now 368.89 driver (with which I have these problems), while with the previous 361.75 no problem.
