bonjour

merci d'avance

Hello

Like many, I started by playing the witcher 3 then I got the GOTY version. Do you know if it is possible to transfer successes validated in TW3 to the GOTY version ???

(I confess to having the lazy to start all over again to validate the success "Bombardier" for example)

thank you in advance

No, the achivements will not transfer.
I use this thread for my question. How can I restore my achievements done on GOTY after new install with same account? My personal data like "app data" is saved, isn't that the place where the achievements got safed (folder galaxy communications service)? Thank you

If you re-install Goty on same gog account, then you should see the achievements already done.
I see, installing the "new" GOTY version crahsed the achievements. But I had no choice, the old version of the game with all the dlc weren't no longer availabe in my library.

There must be a kind of transfer from the single elements to the GOTY-version.

EDIT: It seems to be a general problem, that the achievements and playtime get lost during transfer. I saw the GOG-thread from last year where they announced the "emerging" to the GOTY-version. Questions to the transfer problem are ignored.

I can't imagine that so many people accepted the loss of their achievements. There must be a solution!

Base game +DLCs are not same as Goty, from point of view of achivements, I had same problem(as others), when I go from base game+DLCs to Goty, the achivements are not retain; I think it is something about how the game it work/was designed, it flag when you hit the milestone for that achivement, and the Galaxy will count that achivement, but if you past the milestone and the flag it is not raised(like when add saves in the middle of game), the Galaxy will not know and not add the achivement; maybe it is designed this way, to be drm free, not client dependable(galaxy, steam, origin..) and less heavy coded...for most of us it is ok, I already wanted to do a NG+, so not so much trouble...
Thank you for your explanations.

I would be satisfied to know if this problem also exists on the other platforms like steam etc. :-)
If this system is designed by CDR I can live with it.

Not sure about steam, can be same ''problem'', the base+dlc and goty are separated products as store point of view, but I use steam only for what I don't find on gog, like Skyrim.
