On thin ice has still not been fixed since January, what a total waste of money and total waste of hours spent playing to get to the end and cant finish it because the boss is stuck!!!!!! luckily i will never spend another cent on anything you have to offer!!

Try to contact someone at their official forums or by mail. GOG forums are useless and full of fanboys. Uninstall and install again, maybe that will help.

If the quest was broken, there would have been massive outcry (from January? Come on) from the thousands upon thousands of W3 users. I have played the game many times, and it is not broken. Do you have any mods or scripts installed?

I agree with Hickory. Remove any mods you might have installed - that is probably the best advice. If you are using an aggressive anti-virus program also make sure that it does not block any game files (highly unlikely but you never know).

Let's not create stress and make the matter even more complex, can you be a little more specific and detail your exact experience with the above mentioned boss bug ? What exactly is happening, and is it always on the same spot, I'm close to doing almost all quests in the game so far and no trouble or bugs of that kind...
Alas, as hickory mentioned, if it were a big deal the forums would have gone crazy a long time ago, but i never heard of such a serious bug that required that many reinstalls, so maybe its you that's doing something wrong :)

verify/repair or reinstall game and load save BEFORE starting on thin ice and it should help

Thanks to all who replied, My internet has been upgraded so I will uninstall and re-install, prior to this I was busy. I had already explained in a different post what was going wrong in detail and also sent that via email to a few places. I don't have any mods cos I am not too up to date about these things.

Anyways I have some free time and I don't mind playing this game from the start again, the whole reason I choose this game is because I did my research and I fkn love this game... I was just piss'd off that I got up to that point and fk all was happening. I tried everything and I did find on the internet that some people were talking about it.

My internet was not unlimited before so I cracked it that I would have to download it again lolol
