I use Galaxy, but always manually install the game. I previously installed manually (main 1.10 installed first, then patched to 1.21, then installed all the DLCs including Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine) and had Galaxy verified the game.
When Galaxy prompted me to update the game after 1.22 came out, it said not enough disk space (I had 13GB free space in my OS drive). So I decided to manually install the update. I did see that there is the new 1.10 to 1.22 patch for the main game, and all DLCs are version 1.22. After only downloading the 1.22 patch (2 files, 2.1GB in total), I did the update, and the patch program said it would patch the main game as well as all the DLCs. Without installing the new 1.22 DLCs, I let Galaxy verified the game, and it didn't need to download any additional update and recognized the game as 1.22. I went in the game and the version says 1.22 and all seem fine.
My question is: is the 2.1GB 1.22 patch the only thing we need if we had the the main game and all DLCs installed? Is it true that you don't need to download the full Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine 1.22 installers? (It appears to be the case for me anyway, and if that's the case, people really just need to manually download the 1.22 patch without downloading 11.2GB DLC installers)
