I`ve put in over 70 hours and then the game refused to let me load my save and said i needed to install the Beard and Wines DLC which i never uninstalled.

I reinstalled the entire game didn`t work so I gave up and started again.

Today i try to launch my new saved game and get sent back to windows every time so after nearly a years worth of patching the game is now unplayable for me i can`t even get further than the menus now.

Are you sure it said Blood and Wine? Blood and Wine isn't out yet. Hearts of Stone is the one currently out. I didn't have any problem moving my save when I formatted my pc. Worked just fine when I reinstalled TW3 with the current DLC. Make sure your DLC is installed. That would be a separate install if I remember right depending on if your using Galaxy or not.

Going from your very vague details, I am going to assume that you are using GOG Galaxy. That being so, you need to verify/repair your game from within Galaxy. It is not allowing you to load your games because your saves don't match your installation.

Hickory: Going from your very vague details, I am going to assume that you are using GOG Galaxy. That being so, you need to verify/repair your game from within Galaxy. It is not allowing you to load your games because your saves don't match your installation.
I have done that and reinstalled the entire game as soon as i try to load a save or even start a new game it just shuts off and im back in windows.

If you can't even start a new game, then you have a corrupt installation, whether you've reinstalled or not, or you have a hardware issue. There is no other explanation.
