People who bought GOTY get all in one v1.31 installer, the rest of us DON'T:

GOTY:

In the world of DRM, it's a constant fact that the paying customers are the only ones who get screwed.

I think it sends a really poor message when that ends up still ringing true—for a GOG title.

I can find the GOTY installer files online with very little effort, but I'd rather have the option to update my GOG library instead.
I'd like my version of the game to be changed into goty as well. :)
As a collector, I have both previous Witcher games as the complete editions. Owning TW3 in its GOTY format would just complete the collection.
Good morning GOG I too would like to have the GOTY edition of The Wither 3. Especially being a member of your site and owning many copies of the fist Witcher in wich I gave away as gifts. In my account it shows that I own the entire Library of Witcher Titles and not trying to place myself over anyone else but we as members should be allowed to have the GOTY edition of said game for no extra charge. I do know that Companies such as Steam already do this and have already been doing this. I purchased Batman Arkham City from steam and they automatically granted me the Batman Arkham City GOTY edition of the game. The same thing is occuring with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim n which I purchased the entire set including all DLC's and for that on OCtober 28, 2016 I shall be getting The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition for free on my account. So Hoorah to Steam for such a great acconplishment and now that I am dealing with GOG I infact shall not be getting the very same? For purchasing a game with all it's DLC's? I am not making a call toward your company but just listing what I myself have been given justifies my simple Glitch towards being possibly upset with GOG for a simple yet solvable conclusion.
The remastered editions of Bioshock and Bioshock 2 were also free for prior owners.
Add me to the list. For the unified installer and just to put it on my "Games you already own"-list whenever I click on collections during sales. It's annoying to have GOG tell me I don't own it, even though I must have paid double to get all the content. And you know, I haven't even played it yet, I bought it at the full price just to support more Witcher.

And somebody please change my description from German to English in Galaxy... :)

Sooo, you just want the title of game to include 'game of the year' in your library? Cause that is literally the only difference between what you have and the GOTY edition. This is not the same kind of situation as Bioshock 1 and 2 remastered.
I own the base game + all expansions + all DLC on GOG. And in my library the version of all these installers is 1.31, i.e. the last version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, same as GOTY Edition. So I don't understand what people are demanding in this thread. Just re-download all the final installers and you will have the GOTY Edition.
In a sense, you are correct, in my Witcher 3, if I wanted to install manually, I have the setup for The Witcher 3, the setup for the Witcher 3 Free DLC, the setup for Hearts of Stone and the setup for Blood and Wine. All quite nice, and I'm happy.

Now if I'd bought the GOTY, I'd have 1 setup, setup_witcher3_en_goty_2.0.0.51.exe (according to someone that bought it), and I'd be done.

Obviously, I'll install through Galaxy for convenience, but it's a matter of principle, you know? I mean, if they are identical, what's the harm in unlocking it? For example, I bought the Season Pass that included both the major DLC packs. And when those were released, they were indicated as Owned in the store page, even though I didn't buy those exact ones. So, if the GOTY is identical to what I already have, just put it on owned.

I know, call me OCD, but I can't stand seeing that one unpurchased listing in the "People who bought it also bought" section. It makes me want to buy it just to get rid of it, and that would make me very upset with GOG. :)
Well I'm nto demanding the GOTY version but it would be a nice upgrade because (I hope) it simplifies the download and install process. With my current setup (I have all available content) I have to track many different files (for updates) and install many different things; qutie annoying. And (at least the last time I tried it) galaxy was a buggy piece of garbage that made thigns a lot worse (not to mention doesn't work on linux - which is not relevant to witcher 3 but is relevant to my gog library).

It's not the same. The GOTY has a SINGLE installer while I'm currently saddled with a whole bunch of separate ones that have to be run in a particular order.

I used Bioshock as an example of a BIGGER difference that was given FOR FREE.

Yes it is.

You're obtuse. I clearly explained the difference.

No, you did not. The game, in both cases, is the same... exactly the same. Only the installer is different. The installer is not the game, so stop being a cry baby.
