At level 33 so I'm trying to finish this quest. Enter the tower, go thru portal, see golem, attack golem...nothing happens! He doesn't attack, just stands there. Examine the bodies on the floor but no reaction from Geralt.

Have I done something wrong? Is this a bug? Has this happened to anyone else?

Any help is appreciated.

Talk with man behind glowing wall,which barring enter in nearby room.

It is possible to fail to trigger the entry trigger.

Reload from outside the tower, then while outside close and re-open the tower door before passing through the portal.
After this the quest will play through as scripted.

Did you wait long enough for the Golem to register that you were an intruder? It takes a short time to go through it's opening monologue before it initiates the attack.
