You'd never believe it but once upon a time, The Elder Scrolls games were PC games too. Bethesda also took their PC gaming the way of the dodo. I'd love to see some new games with the depth and intrigue of some older actual PC titles...

Most modern console gaming started out on PC, people seem to forget that.
If you are sick of the current state of PC gaming, do what I do: Start to develop your own game. Yeah, it's hard but fun, and you gain an appreciation for what really goes on behind the scenes. There is nothing quite like creating your own assets, import them into the engine, and running around your own creation! Must be how an architect feels.

I would have no plans whatsoever to release on console, PC for the win!

Well the whole Free DLC programm was about assessement of TA reaction, well, en masse, reaction was good, so yeah the have a greenlight for their future project to split ready and full release in DLC pieces and sell them bit by bit.

Now their just another developer who makes good games. Nothing to distinguish them anymore, except an increased bank account as they head down the road of pleasing console kiddies, Microsoft and SONY.

The good old days were indeed good old days.

I'm confused, what is it that CDPR have done to make people angry?

I got the game on launch, play W3 almost every night, get some alright DLC for free. Haven't had one CTD, yeah the odd glitch or three, but overall its been one of the best AAA launch titles I have played in years.

I am waiting for 1.07 but still keep playing as there is NOTHING wrong with the game i am playing.

There is at least one thing wrong with the game as it stands. Inventory management. I don't mean storage, I could give sweet fuck all about the storage chest. But Sorting and management in the current inventory is cumbersome at best. I really can't wait to see how they've fixed this.

But surely it's just cumbersome and not unusable. Doesn't seem enough to justify the hate from some people.

I agree. I want the patch as I'm going to start over once it's out. Completely. But the game is useable and enjoyable until I hit the inventory screen.
