sariaen: Sorry mate but the 'Best game ever' title does not belong to Skyrim. Maybe in your eyes but not in general. 47 hours into the game and still being lvl 7 is pure bullshit. Did you do any main quests for an exp boost? No? So why are you complaining? You can still kill lvl 10 and 12 stuff with easy while being lvl 7.
Skyrim, my friend, was a heavily consolised mess of a release. I spent in that game almost 150 hours. It has no depth as far as fetch quests are concerend. The main story is nice but filled with characters you wont even remember after you finish the game. The main cities of Skyrim pale in comparison to Novigrad. Did I mention lack of proper inventory mechanics and console grade interface? Don't even tell me how you can mod it. We are judging the base game here. So Bethesda can release a buggy mess of a console port on PC and we praise it because there is heavy modding opportunity? Are you serious?
I am playing on Sweat and Blood and I still use the lvl 1 Viper sword. Drowners are dying my friend, they are crying not laughing. Maybe you are used to a very simplified combat mechanic of Skyrim? Tried using signs and bombs and actually positioning yourself in a fight?

Well now then why do lots of folks have over 1k plus in the game of skyrim if it sucks so bacly according to you? You must be a console player as the inventory system here with TW 3# sucks the armor and weapons restrictions are bullshit. lack of storage. You pay 2-300 gold for a diagarm and it don't ell you what ingridients your missing to make whatever it is you just spent your hard to find hard earned gold on. The xp has been non existent since 1.04 patch has been put out for the Pc. I've played 25 hrs and got 15 xp.
As for your playing it on sweat and blood with a level 1 sword I highly doubt that there as my level 1 swordd won't even do any damage to most even using bombs and oils.
As for the menuing system and having to hit the esc key got knows how many times to get of somewhere and back in the game?
Like I said the only thing for which TW3 has going for it so far is that it's open world though it ties your hands in regards to weapons and armor as to what you are able to use. Even the old baulders Gate series was better in allot of ways then TW 3 and how longs it been for that one there?
Lots of folks have over 1k hours and even 2k hours as I noticed. The reason for that is simple. Huge modding community. People add more and mroe functionality to the game on a daily basis I believe. You have mods from all walks of life. From heavy BDSM to complete overhauls, and new adventures. That is why the game has so much replayability. Not becasue the base is such a ruby in gaming.
You played for 25h and got 15 XP? That is strange as I advanced one level yesterday while playing. Seems I do not have the XP bug even on the infamous 1.04 patch.
There is no storage but that is a design deccision not a flawn. I do hope they will patch the Horse to serve as a mobile chest. That will be useful for item hoarders.
Why do you need to know what are you missing? You want that diagram anyways so what difference does it make? They will add some basic info regarding the level for sure.
People need some kind of progression system. That is why you have levels. I would gladly get rid of the levels, make Geralt accquire just skill points to modify the base Witcher build, and limit the armor wearability by proper crafting system. You know what would happen? People would complain. Bah...get rid of the item restrictions...people will complain...why use low level armor when you can use the top one?
Baldurs Gate was nice indeed. I do not think it was better in many ways. Story was nice and apart from that you had the standard, on the rails, RPG experience with very limited character progression. Inventory was nothing different. You did not have any limitations regarding armor and weapons apart from the class specific ones. Your only concern was the money and the level of your crew. True.
Witcher 3 has more than open world that makes it a very good game.
Don't take me wrong here. We are just two Gentlemen with a different mindset and likes. It is obvious that we will not agree on everything. I understand your concerns and respect your opinions. However, if you wish to find love in the Northern Kingdoms I would suggest finding a puppy and hugging it. There is no love, respect, easy mode, care bears in the Northern Kingdoms. Peace and....Did you find out who is the king of Pontar yet? :P
Rozenman: !SPOILERS ALERT!
To me the worst thing in W3 is the ending. Not decribing anything at all(What happend to the Awalakh how Ciri deafeated the white death etc etc) moreover when you play after it nothing changed in the world, i just went into Oksenfurt and see Redanian troops everywhere BOSH! It also has some story flaws like i visited Undvik before i had the main quest on it for example and had the cutscene where Geralt was hiding from the giant then when i have the quest Geralt tells to the Krah " Are you sure that Snow Giants still exist did anyone see it?" JFC That made me facepalm.
It is not as bad as you think. Many things you learn as you progress to the end of the game. There is enough information given to figure things out. However I may disagree, I hope they will patch it somehow, add something in the expansions or the free DLC so that almost everyone is happy :)To me the worst thing in W3 is the ending.
