Yeah, right, another whinging complaint with absolutely no reference to user's hardware, OS, installed mods/scripts etc. Nobody cares.

What does my hardware have to do with anything? My PC is as average as it can get: Win 7 64bit (Service Pack 1), Intel i7-6700, 16GB ram, GTX 970
No mods, clean install. The game is very prone to glitches. I am on my second playthrough and I have stumbled on new annoying bugs.

For example: Irina Renarde is stuck with a book, even when she combs her hair, also, that dream lady that you rescued from nightmares - she is holding a book in her left hand as she swipes the floor with a broom. Have not noticed this in 1.12 version.

Another example: Building shadows tend to turn black as you approach them.

Well in my experience, W3 is bug-free compared to many other open world games. I've played 230h now and experienced about (I need to guess) 10 CTDs. Other games are far worse. Also, to consider textural bugs totally immersion breaking is a little extreme, at least in my opinion (then again, maybe your texture bugs are worse than the ones I experience).

Hardware and framerate issues: My framerate is rather smooth (around 55-70fps on a i5 2500k and a 390). Maybe the issues are caused because of your GTX 970, since it doesn't have much VRAM (3.5GiB + 512MiB). Out of curiosity I've measured my vram consumption when playing W3 and it turns out i need up to 7.9GiB (I'm using various texture mods though)

Concerning a refund: I don't think CDPR needs to refund this game due to the bugs you are experiencing

I run a similar OS and hardware configuration and had zero issues with the game since day 1 *shrug* sounds like a problem on your end.

10 CTDs is a lot. No excuses to have even one.

Various technical glitches (Floating Road Textures) and [other] graphical bugs are immersion breaking, and considering the developers pride themselves in uber realistic graphics, [they] should not be there .

Like I said, I am a busy guy, I work and I have criminal law exam to pass, I wanna play Witcher during my rare spare time, not spend it all on the internet looking for bug fixes.

And btw, my frame rate is locked at 60fps, except when I approach Vegelbud estate - drops to about 55-56 fps (which is barely playable). Also, the game crashed to desktop during that cutscene when you chase Triss through the maze.

I have no mods installed; the game looks very pretty even in vanilla state.

All I'm saying is: The game is not as perfect as people make it out to be.

You want to qualify as a lawyer yet use terms (with NO justification) like "swindling devs'? Jeez!

If you are not enjoying it (or can't run it) and gave it a fair chance then I don't see why you shouldn't get a refund. The system was put in place for this exact same purpose. Even though Witcher 3 is this generation's masterpiece, it's not perfect, no game will ever be, and it's by no means for everyone.

Don't go looking for a reason to drop it, especially in a fan-boy club, it will only make things worse. Just do whatever you feel is best and never force yourself to play a game no matter the hype surrounding it.

However, like I've said, the game deserves a fair chance, more so if you like a good story.

Could be you are reading the wrong books, listen to bad advice?
But, maybe W3 is the wrong game for you alltogether? Just look at Tetris, Pack Man - these were the times!

What wrong books? I am not reading Witcher books at the moment, I am trying to play and enjoy the wonderful world of Witcher 3. If you're gonna try to demean me, at least use proper humour and not that German one.

Yeah thats really annoying, not to say gamebraking. I'd toss the crap in the bin right away. It's intolerable when a single npc out of too many has a bugged attachment - what about the graphical bugs you experience?

Not a single one, every female npc that has that "read book-look at the mirror-comb hair" pattern is affected by that glitch.

Some traders are also glitched out: if you try to buy something from him/them and say "show me what you got" another trader spawns behind you and enters a loop: whenever you try to say "show me the goods" it goes into a loop, not allowing you to browse his inventory.

Another more jarring issue for me are transparent textures in certain parts of the world, mainly around Novigrad's bridges; it gives the appearance as if your legs have fallen into said floating texture. It really kills the graphics since the game is just a gem by itself.

Third biggest prob for me are shadows: When I approach certain buildings, shadows tend to go from grey to dark, and that's only when I come really close to said buildings. The most obvious example is that building in Novigrad that acts as a bridge between the lower city and the upper, uppity one where the temple is located.

And the forth problem are these glitched female npcs. I like looking at them, not in a pervy way, but just studying the artwork of the 3D model. What's fascinating to me is that almost all female 3D models are modeled to look like supermodels, whilst male ones are your average joe's

And yes, I am a big Witcher fan, I even contemplated of buying a Steam version of the game and a collectors edition of it, since a masterpiece should be treated as such. To my disappointment, Witcher 3 is not a masterpiece. So I own only GOG version.

My last hope for this game is to get patched up into at least fairly enjoyable state.
