I was playing last night and it ran fine, but when I turned it on this morning their is so much lag.

Restarting your PC may also help.

If you have windows 10, make sure to shut down the game completely before you shut down the PC.
I experienced massive lags (and blackscreens while loading) if I did not shut down the game before and just shut down the whole pc. I am such a monster... you always should close everything before shutting down the Pc :D
