I am still unable to play witcher 3. I insatlled via the new GoG.com front end, and when I click play, the screen flashes black for asecond, then is back to desktop/application. Any help?
I just opened a threat for apparently the same problem (here).

Which graphic card are you using ?
Beside the black screen, do you have any error message ?
Are you using a laptop ?
Check the pre-requisites, like directx, visual c++, dot net etc.
Actually now that i think on it, also make sure your system is 64 bit and also that your graphics card supports directx11, I'm sure you already knew these, but just in case you didn't.

EDIT : dot net and visual c redistributables seem to be the most likely culprits.

Found the requirements (that took some hunting) but yes, my pc meets them, no it is not a labtop.

I don't see a version requirement listed for visual c++ nor dot.net, bu thave them installed for use with other games, and windows automatically updates the .net library, not sure about the visual c
I let the specialists answer your question concerning the version of .Net and Visual C++ but I read somewhere that a player installed Galaxy and it solved his problem. He thinks that Galaxy installed the correct version of Visual C++. Good luck anyway.

(PS in my case the crash is because really too weak graphic card)
Have you tried cleaning your computer? I once had this issue with a game and i cleaned it, lots of dust. The game then worked flawlessly.

The reason I have withdrawn from this thread.
BTW, I got a new Galaxy version automatically installed today on my machine: version 1.0.3.985. Does it help with your problem ?

You give way too little information to help you. I'd look through the GOG general troubleshooting guide first. I'd post the a link but sadly its not allowing me to atm.

If nothing in the GoG general troubleshooting guide applies to you. Then kindly post some system information.
Have you tried launching the game without having GOG galaxy installed? Considering Gog galaxy is optional and still in beta.
