In my ending I could see what happenned to Temeria and Ciri - Geralt.

lol I agree except for saying it was on the same level as ME3. Not quite that bad.

I meant ME3 ending after the patch.But well as i said in my opinion such ending for such game well... sucks.What also pisses me off the fact that i cant go and hunt the last crone Geralt could do it with Ciri it would be a cool ending IMHO but i can't because i got the good ending. Went out of the room smashing the door in rage.
P.S I even made a topic about requesting a mission to kill the last crone on CDPR forum;3

This is quite a spoiler, but since you are complaining, let me tell you that there is an ending in which you have to hunt the Crone, to retrieve Vesemir's medallion. But I think that in this ending Ciri is dead.

I know so you didn't spoil anything what i wanted to mention that in case that Ciri became a Witcher(in my ending) it would make add an extra mission where you have to hunt the last crone with her.

White frost is due to entropy according to the elf at the end if you ask the right question lol. At the end all worlds lose their energy and freeze over. To me it seems based on the big freeze theory:

Also I agree with the above comment. I feel like the crone should be hunted down in an additional side quest if Ciri survives as a little bonus to the good ending :) Maybe even get to play as Ciri one last time to finish the job?

Dude..come on...I played the hell out of this game (finished W1 & W2 about 6 times each) & got ALL the endings..none provided ANY proper closure for Geralt. I can see how the Wild Hunt wanted Alvin/Jacques and why they'd chase Ciri down when Geralt foiled their plans but this "last part of Geralt's saga" didn't deliver on this front. Period.

Why'd they want Alvin exactly? Was he elder blood too?

What? Discovering the very nature of the Wild Hunt, finding their weaknesses, plotting against them and finishing them wasn't enough? I understand why Geralt wanted an easy life with Yennefer, and why Ciri would rather become a witcher than an empress (in my ending), and I see how plotting against Radovid brought back Temeria. It's not a perfect ending (some things could be improved) but I really liked it.
Yes, he was. He had the same abilities of Ciri, he could travel between space and time, but he tried to find another way to fight the White Frost, because his visions convinced him that he couldn't stop it in the way Ciri did (not to mention that he never received a proper training in the arts of magic).

I don't consider giving Eredin about a handful of lines in the game is enough to draw up a good character and neither am I a fan of leaving plot lines unresolved as was the case with Geralt's amnesia, his time under the hunt and most of all his closure since this is his last chapter. Some of the aspects of the endings/plot I liked very much, but some I felt were very underwhelming (the ones I posted above).

According the ending, I felt the same way as the thread opener.

I also got the ending, Ciri is alive becoming a witcher, Nilfgaard winning the war.

In general it really was the best part of the trilogy, and one of the best, or the best "new style" role playing game of all time! (for me) But i really think the ending, not the ending by itself, but the "presentation" of the ending does measure up with this really awesome game.

Sure, while the main story you get enough informations about the main charakters to figure out what happens after, but i really dont think that the ending is a proper closure for the Geralt saga.

I dont know how to explain. I´m a player feeling with the charakters, the decisions, going all the hard way with them and creating an emotional binding to the characters. During the whole gameplay it was a well detailed, high quality gameplay, you know the name of every little blade of grass, walked around every tree, licked off :) every gwent card... i think you know what i mean.
After the end i felt ripped out of this awesome journy, like a back tooth knocked out of my face with a rusty nail.
In one moment you fighting your way through an epic battle to the tower with Yen, in the next moment you see a - by far too short - ending "video" consisting of a few drawed pictures with less or completly missing informations about some main charakters, what happend to Ciri in the Portal, or Phillipa, and Yen/Triss will be mentioned by the way with one picture in 5 seconds.
Doesn't matter if you choosen a romance or not, for a "live changing" incident in Geralt's live, it's not enough.

For me, its far too little informations, no "epicness", hello? It´s the ending of an trilogy!
I missed an cinematic like rendering video, showing the main charakters, seeing the trainig of Ciri with Geralt for example, the chance talking to the main characters one last time after the fight, or a last meeting with all of them in Kear Morhan, like the "party" :) before breaking the curse of Uma, you know?
The hand drawed pictures will be fine for the loading screen yes, but for sure not for the main ending of this epic adventure!

It's an agreement of tastes, yes, but this was my feeling after the playthrough.

The next thing is. In general im the type of player who don't like the the chance to playing any further after the main story, for me it's done, when it's done! That's my tast yes. But for a game you can play after the main storyline, it's no-go that some main charakters "cut out" of the world and you can't see, can't talk to any furhter. (Ciri, Yen, Triss...).

However, the ending isn't enough for a game that is finished after the main story, although for a game you can play further, especially if some main charakters was cutted out.

I really really hope, that CD Project will be going the way like Bioware did with the ending of Mass Effect 3, patching and epic ending, which can measure up with the really terrific story, the wonderful characters and the awesome eagerness we've seen till this point of the game.

I'm happy with the ending (I got the sword ending). For me it was very moving I think and actually not that obvious. I don't see any reason to change anything here. Besides most questions are answered. A well done ending from my point of view. But I also saw a few of the other endings on youtube and they felt a lot less intense to me. But of course it's hard to say because my decisions where different.

Still I have to admit I would also prefer to play Geralt and Ciri hunting down the last crown. Especially since the Ciri gameplay is so much fun - I'd love to get more of that!!! But I doubt that quest will happen for obvious reasons. CDPR will likely not add a quest that only some of us will be able to play. And I don't see any reason to completely change one ending. The main idea of this ending is good I think... I'm not so sure about the execution though and it might be a bit too dark compared to the rest of the game.

Agreed with gogadi there. Whatever ending we got, Geralt conclusion felt meh!! At the few last missions seems Geralt was like a tool being use to make ends meet. Even Ciri kinda kid him (silly, nothing but a witcher thingy) at the last moment. And surprisingly he stumped. Mind you, without Geralt..no npc could ever hope to reach their goals.

Felt like the story shifted from Geralt's to Ciri's kind of thing. Not a fitting farewell suit for a hero. Tbh..I'd be prefer Geralt dies where everyone mourns for him. Well maybe one of the endings. He should gone celebrated or out with a bang. A Dragon Age Origins kind of ending.

Simply put, he left without sufficient appreciation
