Hickory: Now read it again. I was not setting out the Witcher/Empress path, I was setting out how to ensure that Ciri survives.

NINJ4R4BBID: Yes but you listed the path split and didn't mention that it is not the only factor so it's a little misleading (because letting Ciri visit Emhyr does not exclude the possibility to end up with Witcher path).
It was not misleading, because (I will say it again) I was only providing Ciri survival information. The rest was/is irrelevant.

She become then famous witcher.

I made some screenshots. (Had to reduce size)

It was my first game, so was I lucky for this ending? I just make decisions that I felt more right.
That was my ending as well, I was delighted! I thought Ciri died *sad face*

I really treated Ciri like a daughter xD

It was misleading because you included unnecessary information with misleading omissions (you included branching information that wasn't necessary and omitted details). I simply clarified those omitted details in 5th choice (even multiple times now in this thread), but you simply started to nitpick (adding nothing to the discussion).

heck... i'll even provide you an example...

1 - Go with Ciri to Skjall's grave
2 - During final preparations, allow Ciri to go to speak with the Lodge
3 - After Vessemir dies, cheer Ciri up with a snowball fight
4 - In Avallach's lab, encourage Ciri ("Go for it") to destroy it, to vent her anger
5 - In conversation with Ciri, there is an option to mention that the Emperor wishes to see her:
Choose to go with her, but do not take the bounty offered
Pursuade Ciri not to go

here you go (you said it yourself)...

almost copy of your original post, no irrelevant/unnecessary information (not pertaining to Ciris survival), no ommisions.

But even then it's not complete because you can ignore choice 5 completely (go straight to Velen) it will still count towards survival kinda (because Witcher path needs 2 out of 4 choices and Empress path needs 3 out of 5 for Ciri to survive). Choice 5 plays a role in survival only if you choose to go to Vizima!!!

It was *not* misleading. Your continued attempts to prove otherwise *are* misleading. There is a truth that you continue to overlook. I quote myself:
"For Ciri to survive (Empress or Witcher path) you must ensure the following: "
That was my preface; that was the crux. Nothing else you say matters. I was not misleading. I was not nit-picking. On the contrary, it is *you* that is nit-picking, trying to tie the emperess/witcher path in, where that information was merely incidental, and nothing to do with survival. Now drop it.

Oh my god, why did i even quote you (f.f.s.), shouldn't have written it as a reply to you, i should have simply written what i wrote (additional info)!? It was meant as additional info and clarification for 5th choice, that's it, nothing more!!!

Because that choice only influences Ciris survival if you choose to visit Emhyr in Vizima. Also visiting Emhyr with Ciri does not lock you out of Witcher path, but is one of requirements for Empress path (other beign for Nilfgaard to win the war).

Can't stand the empress ending, I just think it falls far outside the theme of the Witcher. Also, does it not break the "law of surprise" cannon? Ciri was destined to become a Witcher, because that is what Geralt asked for...

I so wanted to get the Ciri becoms a Witcher ending, while visiting Emhyr with Ciri and refusing the money (just so much love that scene), but the price you have to pay to thwart Nilfgaards war effort by putting Dijkstra in power, just daumn (that was a blow)! :(

Makes sense that that would be the cost, the Witcher was never supposed to be about "greater good" via "grand political schemes", so you end up sacrificing the good within Geralt's life (the primary theme in the Witcher) for it.

Yeah some of the choices have a real weight to them, many choices leave Geralt between a rock and a hard place.
