I don't understand why anyone would consider Yennifer, when for the last two games before the Witcher 3 Geralt's been with Triss and she's helped Geralt through quite a bit. Plus the quests you have with her in the Witcher 3 make it really hard not to choose her! She seems way nicer and real than what I've seen of Yennifer so far.
Have you read the books?
I like Triss a lot as well, Yen is for the book lovers more, but she is really behaving like bitch the whole game in my opinion, Triss is the right option for me .. btw, it is matter of choice if you are or not with Triss in the previous games

Yeah, I forget that. Triss is just basically one of the only truly unselfish character in the games in my opinion. I really need to read the books!
Well, you may be surprised. But I really have no idea how they were translated, I read only Polish and Russian versions.

Triss is not in the books I think .. haven't read all of them tho
Fourteenth of the Hill not in the books?
Yes, the game certainly gives you no reason to dump Triss for Yen, but I'll probably do that in my 2nd play through anyway.
Well I finished the game and ultimately the Triss romance path was a bit of a disappointment.
In almost none of your meetings does she act like your lover.

But you do get to live happily ever after.
I always prefered Triss in the past 2 games, BUT I really dislike her new voice actress in W3 (german language, however). Sounds very odd, unprofessional. This kills all the romance for me :(
Except that Triss is exploiting Geralt's amnesia to steal him away from the one he really loves.
She herself says it in Witcher 3 when you are going with her to do the rat infestation quest.

He didn't. Amnesia, remember?
And btw, what exactly a diference with using a jine to force some one to love you. :)

Russians tells - "only cow can be stealed" :D

So what? Some used flowers, some - care. She didn' kill any for that like some others did, didn't make stuffed figure from him, just love him. I can forgive that. :)

He didn't desire for Yen to love him.
He desired for their fates being intertwined. It's a bit different.

Did you read the book? Enlighten me how exactly they been intertwined fates just after jine gone?
Did you complite the "the last wish" quest? Did you hear what they talk about?

- i think you "r fate will become stranger to my" ... "nothing changed"
- "my fate still intertwined" you too.

Typical fates talk. What love? No no. :D

she did flirt with Geralt in witcher 1 when she knew he has amnesia and didn't even mention Yen..
