seriously I was wondering are there any more continents in the world besides the one we are standing between niifgaard and the northern realms? The game goes so much in depth about various worlds out thanks to the conjunction of spheres, but they never mentioned any more land outside of the main continent that we are in.

When you get the season pass there's a new region waiting to be explored.

I don't want to spoil, but... Answering your question... Besides the normal world, you'll play in a few more worlds, but you won't be able to explore them. Maybe you'll be able to get some lorebooks or common crafting components and draw from a place of power, but nothing else.

I know I won't explore them and only visit a few worlds (i'm on that quest right now - though time and space), but it makes me curious that in the future series of the Witcher, we could have the chance to explore more and more worlds out there. Hell just ciri mentioned a sci-fi world she visited.

I know about that but I don't think it's going to be as huge as the main continent that we are in. Makes me even more curious if there is an Asian styled continent somewhere in the world.

I hope not... they can't just end it here. This is the end of Garalt of Rivia's tale but who can't say we cannot play someone else in the same universe? There so much lore in this game that it can continue to grow but with different stories from different people we could play as... just as this game we play both Garalt and Ciri (but Garalt mainly)... this sound like they build up for some unexpected.

They never said it's the last Witcher game, just the last one starring Geralt. I wouldn't be surprised in the least to see a Witcher 4 where you play Ciri the whole time.

Well, there is a cutscene where the witchers talk about what they experienced since they saw each other and there was talk about a region where they pay well for witcher work. ;) Sounded a bit like there could be the expansion be placed, maybe.

That is what I am expecting, I don't mind playing a brand new witcher from 5 years in the future after witcher 3, where I either play on one of the new witcher schools or train under garalt when there is a new and improved version of the trail of the grasses that has a higher chance of success...

Continent? We haven't even left the Northern Kingdoms (or explored all of them) yet.
Let's play those first... then the same continent, south of the Amell, before new *continents*.

That's what I want to see. A cameo by Geralt, Triss, or Yen or even Ciri's return? CDPR should look into this great idea.
