When you opt for a new game, one of the options is to simulate the choices you made during the Witcher 2.

- Aryan La Valette?
- Went with either Roche or Iorveth?
- Triss / Saskia / Anais?
- Sile de Tansarville?
- Letho?

However, I can strongly recall that there are other, just as important decisions to be made in the Witcher 2.

Does Prince Stennis live? Did you allow Roche to butcher King Henselt?

There also dozens of other, smaller decisions. They range from newboy's amulet, down to handing treasure seekers over to the vengeful spirits.

I'd like to know if anyone out there has seen hints that there are more than just the 5 questions that transfer into the Witcher 3 when importing a save game rather than simulating.

when you import the safegame you will have more decisions implanted.
I for example have my silly tattoo that you could get at one point in the previous game.
That is just one small exampe however, and i can't know how many other things are impacted by my safe because i have never played it without safegame import and am far from being done with the game.
"I for example have my silly tattoo"

I've heard worse reasons for replaying the Witcher series.

I'm sitting here with my new GTX 970 and a copy of the gorgeous Witcher 3...

but fuck it... gonna play Witcher 1.
After doing some more research, it turns out that a lot of the choices you made with your Witcher 2 savegame don't matter after all.

It's cute the tattoo stays... but a lot of the other important decisions....

- Went with Iorveth (Iorveth doesn't appear in W3)
- Freed Vergen and helped Saskia (both don't appear in W3)
- Kept Prince Stennis from being Lynched (Prince Stennis is never heard from again)
- Spared King Henselt (Henselt dies anyway when Nilfgaard invades)
- Made sure Anais went to John Natalis (Both vanish and Temeria get conquered)

Turns out, importing a save game doesn't really matter.

I know right?

Seems like I have to redo Witcher 1 & 2 to create a more epic bad-ass Geralt.

If you saved Ada in W1 and gave Anais to Ratovid, what happens to Anais ?. but if Anais went with Roach, what happens? He makes an appearance in the launch video. And I know he would give his live for her.
Well, if you spared Letho at the end of W2, you get to meet him again during a quest in Velen. If not - all you get are a bunch of wraiths.

All this time I have been looking for Iorveth and Saskia. My choice don't matter it seems. I'll have to go with Roche on my next replay.
