Only just started playing the game but the horse roache hates bridges and certain footpathes that look absolutely fine, He just stops and refuses to move.

Is this a bug or is the horse intended to be afraid of completely normal wooden bridges and flat walk ways ?

You must be careful to point Roche down the center of narrow areas, like bridges and narrow pathways.

Also - good blinders help.

Roach will not swim either. Won't even step in a tiny little creek. Have to get off cross the water and then whistle for him and he is magically across the water. Neat trick, Roach.

But Roach is also a stubborn SOB. Sometimes when I leave him to fight I find he has found food somewhere and he WILL NOT COME when whistled for. I've had to go mount him before he will leave that spot.

This was promised to be fixed in 1.07 patch. Patchnotes says literally:

"Fixes an issue whereby the player's horse would often stop abruptly before bridges or other narrow passages."

Nothing happened though. Nothing changed.

Personally i noticed the horse is able to jump over small obstacles automatically when holding the "auto-pilot" button. But when coming to collapsed bridge he refuses to jump even on spacebar press.
