See attachment. Game opens in lower resolution and there's no way to get it to my native resolution, which is 2560x1440.

Exit the game, delete the user.settings file in //My Documents\The Witcher 3\ and try launching the game again. It should create a brand new default config file for you.

When I deleted it and re-opened the game i saw the user.settings file pop back up and the game opened in the lower resolution/smaller screen and still in the settings there's no resolution settings. I don't get why it's completely missing.

If you open the file, do you see the 'Resolution' line in it?

Did you solve the issue? Can you tell me how? It showed me the resolution again after a patch, but now it's gone again.

The resolution doesn't change, and if I put a different value then it just changes it back.

I actually figured it out for myself. It seems like the game recognizes that I use an HDTV, so it doesn't give me the resolution options. If I plug in a monitor, or plug my TV using a VGA cable instead of HDMI, it shows me the resolution option. I wish that there was some workaround, but it's not that bad.
