I got the GOTY edition because I have all the expansions. Is there a reason to install the GOTY version over my current game? any changes I would miss? Thanks

I've seen some people post that there are some mods that aren't compatible with the base game + dlc, but work with GOTY. I haven't used any mods so I have no experience with if this is true. Other than that I do not believe there would be any difference other than easier to install GOTY instead of game + 2 dlc.

Apart from being able to install all DLC in one click, the GOTY edition takes up less space (3 GB less than the base game on its own) probably because they cleaned up some unecessary files.

You can copy your save games over to the new directory and carry on playing too so there's no down side really.

you don't have to copy the save games, GOTY finds them automaticly :)

The main menu randomly change between that of the base game and the two DLCs, but this about the only change I've noticed.

darthwise: you don't have to copy the save games, GOTY finds them automaticly :)
awesome! can't wait to try a new game + with the goty edition

what about the achievements? once I load my saves will they roll automatically?
