Hey all, had a few questions. Can I refuse to hook up with either Yen or Triss? Will it negatively impact my story/ending? Is the finale+ending significantly shorter or more empty without one of them?

On a related note about Hearts of Stone, ********SPOILERS just in case********* and I hook up with Shani, I heard she doesn't appear during the main story's finale/ending, but is she or her romance referenced in any way?

Just curious. Please, no spoilers!

Romance has no effect on the story, other than you did or you didn't with either one, with appropriate dialog/love scenes. Shani is *only* part of the HoS DLC, and has no part to play in the main game, referenced or otherwise. For the record, as spoiler-less as possible, you cannot "hook up" with Shani if you mean in a permanent way, as with Yennefer or Triss.

Thanks so much for the info! I appreciate it. So it seems then I won't be gimping my experience if I refuse both Yen and Triss then, which is nice.
