Help solve the problem.
I go to the GOG Galaxy, press play and as a result - Program has stopped working "GalaxyCommunicationService". Antivirus and firewall I tried to disable - to no avail.

Yes same problem. Game still works after you click "close" but it's annoying to get error each time you start the game, also not sure if achievements are captured or not after this problem, someone from gog has to look into this.

I am having this galaxycommunictionservice error everytime I start witcher 3, it seems the problem is ignored here, any chance someone forward this post to the gog galaxy technical team?

Hello there, it seems that I found a solution to our problem. I just created another user on my system (win7) and launched GOG from there. Everything is working - no more program crashes! Achievements work, all you need is to import saves from My Documents/The Witcher 3

I keep getting this problem when playing Pillars of Eternity and Galaxy is not even running, so they must have put something into the game that starts GalaxyCommunicationService even when you are not running Galaxy.

It needs to be fixed because its anoying having the crash window pop up in game all the time.

Been having this lots ever since the 1.21 patch for The Witcher 3.

No weird characters in my username. System account, GOG account, everything's plain.
Tried reinstalling GOG Galaxy and verifying Witcher 3 files, to no avail.

Kinda annoying having to close the popup - and my PC froze twice since the 1.21 patch, and I suspected that .exe was among the reasons.
It's no definitive proof, far from it, but every time it crashed, I quit the game soon afterward, and I haven't had any system freezes since.
