Hey guys, I recently brought a physical copy of Witcher 3. I have installed the game, via 4 discs. When the installation is finished, there is a shortcut icon of Witcher 3. When I click onto the icon, it takes me to my local disk, where I click on GOG Games. However when I click on GOG Games and then Witcher 3, there is no option for me to actually launch the game even though the installation has been complete. Where can I actually launch the game?

Any help will be greatly appreciated,
Many thanks,
-J

You need to download and install patch 1.02 to launch the game.
For better performance also download and install patch 1.03.
Both can be found on the game page on GOG site or in Galaxy.

Can I download the patch without linking Witcher 3 to my GOG account?

Here. It's called patch 1.01 which is correct. On 19th GOG's patch had the same name, but updated the game to 1.02, so they renamed it.

Have no idea where to get patch 1.03. But it's not required to play the game.
