THe price of season pass is fixed to 24.9€

The heart of stone is 8.49€

Logically, the prise of 2nd extension is more than (24.9-8.49) ?

it's very interessting to buy season pass ?
wondering the same. o_O
I assume it will be about 20 upon release, given the playtime is about double size. But with the reduction offered at launch, you're better off buying them seperately, if that is indeed the case.

I bought a season pass for the second time ever with Batman. Never again, though I guess the fault is mine for being a gullible idiot. (Other one was for Sentinels of the Multiverse, but at least there you know what you're getting and it's good value).
I was curious too. Why aren't they offering a sale price on the expansion pass? Seems more logical to discount the pass and reward people for pre-ordering than discounting the individual parts. Will pass holders get something that the people buying separately don't get? There's no incentive at the moment to buy the pass over buying each expansion separately.

I'd like to know this as well.
I bought the season pass as soon as it was announced, cause the game is awsome.

It would be nice if we got a little thank you in game for buying that expansion pass over waiting to get it later.

I've been holding off thinking they would give us a pre-order discount. I bought W3 on pre-order and am still doing the little things to complete everything. I've already finished the main quest and most side quests, although one of the quests became broken after an update and some of the achievements didn't get counted, I still love the game. I want to get the expansions played while on the first play through. Then do it again with game+. I was hoping someone from GOG would comment on this thread answering our questions. Maybe they will. I didn't like that CDProjekt announced the Expansion Pass including its content and price before the Witcher 3 was launched. As a result I decided to wait. Now we see that the first part has a 15% discount which leads to confusion about the total price of the Expansion Pass. Based upon my best guess would still come in at a $0.50 US discount.

In my opinion marketing should have waited to announce the Expansion Pass until about 6 weeks after launch. Pricing on each part as well as the discount of purchasing the entire package should have been made clear. This would have re-energized sales for the full game and given the appearance to gamers that CDProjekt had their attention firstly on patching the full game and then providing future gaming value.

But what do I know? I'm not a marketing graduate.
I found it curious too when I saw Hearts of Stone discounted on the main page. I'm a proud owner of the main game, but I've been holding out on acquiring the season pass in case there's some kind of sudden discount window.

But thinking further, I feel it'd be pretty silly for them to charge a set sum for the season pass, then out of the blue offer a plan that allows buying both parts even cheaper pre-release.

Hearts of Stone currently has the full price of 9.99€, making it 8.49€ with the 15% discount.

I'm guessing here of course, but If Blood and Wine has double the content as Hearts of Stone, a logical pricing point for it would be 19.99€. With the same 15% pre-release discount, that will be 16.99€.

If both are acquired separately pre-release, the total will be 25,48€, making the season pass still slightly more affordable. Of course, you can shave another 1€ off, if you buy HoS now and then use the store credit acquired while buying B&W, meaning buying them separately would become about 50 cents cheaper.

I do think it's fair however that GoG does not take store credit into account, since this lovely site has hundreds of other things on which you can spend said change as well...

I am slightly puzzled too. If they make a discount to the season pass I will gladly pay it.

They should reward the loyalty, I guess.

I agree.
It makes sense, the second expansion adds an entire region, potentially the size of Velen with as much content.

Totally, let's not forget that most other games are in total shorter than this second expansion supposedly is. And there's the replayability on top of it.
I'm holding off buying the DLC till I know the expansion pass doesn't include something else; I know you can get discounted real life gwent cards if you buy the expansion pass instead of the single current hearts of stone dlc but thats all I know and so far that doesn't lead me to believe in buying the complete pass with no discounts.

A real one for you or one for in game (or both)? If for Geralt, that would be hilarious. That would be like the bird nose from W2. :D
