I have preloaded a.k.a downloaded the install files but somehow they are all placed on the root of my harddrive instead of in a folder. When it finished the download it started installing but I got some kind of error, now it looks like it's ready but because of the error and all the files are not in a folder but directly on the root drive I'm scared it won't work. Do I have to re download to be safe or is there another way to know?

Easiest way if you create a folder, copy everything in it, then change your Galaxy settings so all downloads will go to the actual folder you have just created. Make sure you have administrator privileges for that folder.

That's quite strange buddy, I would leave it as it is, the day one patch should download into the exact same folder as the install anyway. Once it is done, just move the whole thing in a new folder on your games drive. As in for the why, no clue.

No problem, bump this up a bit later, maybe someone had similar issues and knows the answer.

I might have figured it out, I moved the files like you said and choose to uninstall the game then I pointed the import folder the the new download folder and now it seems like its ready.
May I ask a question? Do you see the same as I do on the home page of The Witcher 3 in your library in Galaxy? Especially the Play part and the release time and all?

Yes, and it says "waiting for release". Where do you see the release time?

Exact same thing in English.
It says released in two hours just next to the "More" button.

Then I guess my import went well and that I'll be able to play in two hours ^^
Ok, thank you for the confirmation mmarci! :)
