I was going to start a similar thread, but since you guys already did it...
Many already said part of what I wanted to say. I do hope that CDRP realize how crazy it is to release a game after the weekend, in a Monday/Tuesday night when I'll just be able to download the missing piece and go to bed, because next morning I have to work! And I don't really see what damage can an early release do, since they already lifted the embargo for journalists and the Net is full of reviews and so much more (on youtube you can already find walkthroughs, for God's sake, walkthroughs!)... and it would be just 3 days, I think we deserve this.
But there's one thing that no one said, that's really bothering me
Many people, like me, bought the game as soon as preorder was available, almost 1 year (ONE YEAR[) ago. When we did that, you guys at CDRP and GOG gave us a release date.
It wasn't May 19th. It was February 24th. You didn't deliver.
In any Western Country that would be a very serious breach of contract, and I think you know that.
Honestly, I was expecting, given your history with customers, to have some sort of compensation for this delay, like, say, a discount on the Expansion pass. You did nothing, very unlike the CDRP we came to know and love.
Now, you can at least do this. Give us this weekend to start explore the amazing world of The Witcher 3. Give us the last piece of the game today; do it, at least, for the people who bought the game before the announcement of the delay in the release date... after all, for us, it wouldn't be an early release, on the contrary, a slightly less late release. You have nothing to lose, and all to gain from that. No, more than that. You have something to save: our faith and trust in you ('cause lately, they've been really shaking).
