Hi, I'm totally new to this, do I need a specific platform to play the Witcher 3 on the pc? Or do I not need one?

By platform, do you mean launcher? In case you do, the answer is, no. You do not need any launcher to launch the game since it's drm free on all sites. Although there is gog galaxy launcher but it's optional, not at all compulsory. Just downloaded the game from the gog library of yours and start the game through the executable file and you're good to go! Hope this helps.

Bragnoldo: By platform, do you mean launcher? In case you do, the answer is, no. You do not need any launcher to launch the game since it's drm free on all sites. Although there is gog galaxy launcher but it's optional, not at all compulsory. Just downloaded the game from the gog library of yours and start the game through the executable file and you're good to go! Hope this helps.
You don't need a launcher to start the game. You just need to install the game and play it :) I have already played this witcher several times, it's just unrealistically cool campaign. In general, I like to turn on music when I play games. I used to use subscription services, today there was an unpleasant incident with one of these services and now I only listen free stock music. This is how popular companies lose people's trust.

I don’t know, I think that the listener / viewer should pay for any content, because it is primarily intellectual work, but also a financial investment. We must not forget that artists earn on this, this is their bread. Just imagine the situation if you stop being paid for a job!

Good afternoon. I don't know, I've never had problems with these platforms, I generally adore Spotify and generally consider it the coolest music platform. I think cases like yours are rare.
