I have my Win 7 screensaver set for a 3-min time limit, and thus far it's come up in the opening hour of W3 twice (during animated intro, and next longer intro) - every time it comes up it brings me back to desktop, but as soon as I move the mouse / controller it goes back to the game. It's an easy fix, just move the mouse or change my screensaver time limit, BUT, I'm sure you'd agree the game shouldn't be doing this regardless.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Also experiencing a few other strange things:

- I'm playing on PC with a 360 controller, and it seems that every time I go into the menus it is constantly re-recognizing the controller. Every movement I make it brings up the "Controller connected" - I assume the game keeps bouncing between the keyboard and mouse and then when I do anything on the controller it re-registers it? Thankfully this hasn't been a problem - I'm playing with the controller totally fine, but it's a strange thing and its kind of annoying to see it constantly popping up in the menu.

- Second strange thing, I turned off subtitles right away (find them distracting, can distinguish words just fine) and it was all good... until, in the tutorial, it got to the nightmare flashback where the Wild Hunt shows up - that whole sequence went back to subtitles. I thought, "Uh, did it just reset?" Then the next sequence the subtitles were back off again. A bug? Not a big deal, but strange.

About the screensaver, could it be that you're running the game in Borderless Window? If not, I don't know why it's happening.

It does the same for keyboard and mouse also. We get a notification for that too.

This's really annoying, playing on plasma TV screensaver is a must have, I cannot think of enabling/disabling the screensaver every time I want to play, how can this happen on a game like this?? I'd understand if it was done by some unknown indie company but from CDKP. Really hope this we'll be patched faster than soon!
