the game just told me i can activate new animations in the "game menu" so i checked options -> graphics but couldnt find the options for the animations, where can i find it? (i dont use gog galaxy)

i installed the patch then i started the game, loaded my gamesave, went for the toilet because i cant skip the "loading screen comic" (its getting old :/) and when i came back i had a message on my screen "new animations can be activated from the game menu"

Yup, I saw indeed the same message about new animations as soon as I loaded my game, and I also checked the options menu but didn't find it

Are you talking about a bug with the loading screen? I can skip the loading comic by hitting space, but it only works when the game is done loading. I usually hit space repeatedly, a few seconds apart, and the comic and VO quickly fade out if the game is ready.

ah that explaines the loading screen comic issue, thx.
however i still want to know where to activate the new animations :/

I got the same message. Couldntz find any new options either. After some thinking i am pretty confident they mean the new colourblind mode for witcher senses.

i think colourblind was there pre patch 1.05 and also "colorblind mode" is a whole other thing as "animations" ;)

I have the same thing. It shows everytime you load the game for the first time since you opened the game.

For example: open the game, load the last saved... the message shows. Reload the game... the message doesn't show. Close the game, re-open and then re-load... it shows again.

maybe it is referring to some new options within the graphics menu? wouldn't exactly be an animation but I think they added some semi real time cloud shadows with the 1.05 patch? kinda like they had in the preview version of the game

not sure about that though, it was only after that message that I ever noticed the cloud shadows...

I never saw anything about animations. Only message I got was something to do with a information on the DLC being added and that you could check the tutorial.

No it wasn't, the colour blind options were added with the 1.05 patch (thankfully, as it makes parts of the game a whole lot easier for me now.)

Got that "New Animations" message, too. Immediately checked the options menu but couldn't find anything new. Apart from the colorblind thing (which is extremely helpful!).
