I wonder if they take a look at the Galaxy and Steam Numbers on how many people play their game each day, and if they notice the massive drop since the patch/hotfix announcement.

I'am deadly annoyed by waiting for it. No W3 in 4 days now. They can say "the xp glitch does not affect balance" all they want, in an open world game you simply dont want to continue playing if you know there is a fix incoming for stuff like that. You dont want to progress on a faulty game version.

And I really hope the summer sale is not the reason for the delay.

I wanna play a fixed Witcher 3 and not Monkey Island... and i bet I'am not alone...

I couldn't care less about some missing xp for low level quests and I don't really understand why it's such a big issue for many.

For me it started harmless, I expected the patch on monday. At that point on the weekend it was not a big thing to let the game rest a bit. Now it's the lack of communication that is annoying. I simply dont want to complete 5 Quests for no xp if the patch is out a few hours later... Like many other times in life.. It's not knowing that sucks the most.

Indeed. If you are really really in need of those xp from the quests, just add them via console later and enjoy the game for now.

Go kill some drowners and "waste" some time getting the xp you think you are missing. Don't stop playing because of this issue! :)

Can't you reload a far previous save? You'll lose progress but I'm pretty sure anything is better than not being able to play the game.

I rotate 100 saves with occasional Milestone backups just to be safe. Open World games can get messy.

CDPR said they would release the patch on Tue/Wed this week. In Poland it is less than an hour from midnight. I have doubts on whether they will deliver on their promise.

I stopped playing a few days ago due to the XP bug. God I want to start playing again,... release the damn patch! :)

That could work not sure but when i encountered it I saw that this patch would fix it so i figured i could wait a day now 3 days later i might try it after work if its not up by them
