Hi guys,

everey time I try to download the game or install it or preload it, it says: installation failed: out of disk space.
But that isnt possible because I have 730GB left. I also switched the installation folder and the download folder to the empty space but still it wont work. Can someone help me or has a solution ?

Looks like everyone with this problem has maaany free disk space. I had only 103 GBs and it allowed me to install. Probably a bug in beta version.
For me pressing "uninstall" and than pressing "install" again worked.
nope, didn´t work
same for me , click uninstall and install again it work , downloding right now at 10 MB/s :) can t wait till 19

Thanks for the reply. I have tried the uninstall/install fix but it still shows lack of disk space. I guess I will keep waiting for a fix.

kogan, I had to manually change my designated galaxy download hard drive. Galaxy's default drive is my C drive, which had very little space left. you have to go to the Galaxy settings( the cog icon at the bottom left of the store page) and change the destination hard drive.

I hope that this helps.
This might be obvious but have you checked in which partition you're trying to install it?

Thank you trycycle365, worked for me! <3
Thanks guys, uninstall and install worked for me too :)
Thanks for the lots of answers,

I solved the problem by downloading the game manually on the website (took ages and allot of nerves). I tried to install it but some of the files were broken so I had to download them again and then it worked for me. If you also have problems with the installation, click in the installation screen settings and put a mark in the file chek box. Download the named files and try it again.

Hope this will hope you.
I just installed GOG Galaxy Beta to install Witcher 2 and I had the same issue: I noticed that (by default) it attempts to download everything to C:. I changed the download and installation folders in the settings to another folder, but that alone did not help: GOG Galaxy still wanted to download everything to C:.

What solved the problem:

1. Aborted the download.
2. Exited GOG Galaxy (killed the process in task manager)
3. Deleted everything from under c:\users\{USERNAME}\Documents\GOG.com Downloads
4. Deleted everything from under c:\GOG Games
5. Restarted GOG Galaxy, restarted the installation.

Now it downloads like an angel :)

In 4 maybe you can move files not delete them. There's a chance Galaxy will verify game files prior to installation. And it definitely re-downloads all the extras including installers, so won't work for 3.
It's wierd that I've got 1.01TB free space on my C: drive, yet Galaxy still pops up as saying that it's out of space.
