Well I've just booted mt PC and lo and behold Witcher 3 is no longer installed on my system. All was well yesterday I still have my Saved game but WTF! Anyone else had this problem. I was using 1.08 patch.

Now I have to download 24 GB of data again!

Have you investigated the cause at all? Issues like this could be the result of serious problems. First off did something actually erase all trace of this program from your computer? Are other files or filetypes missing? Have you run a virus scanner to check for viruses, malware, etc? Is what is mia actually deleted or is it hidden or sitting in the recycle bin? Did you install anything on your computer or make any changes to any programs? If so have you considered doing a system restore to bring you back to a state before you made that change?

Highly doubt this was caused by Witcher 3, fairly sure the program does not have the ability to delete/uninstall itself. Done a virus scan recently?

Just done a full scan and I had no threats. Nothing in Event Viewer either

The whole folder was deleted/ uninstalled. My save game wasn't though thank fuck! Very odd indeed.

Have you been able to point out the culprit, if I may ask?
My PC/GOG somehow managed to recently uninstall both Gwent and Thronebreaker with one blow.
Most unfortunate.
Hoping my TW3 installation, after it actually and possibly completes in the nearish future, will stay intact.

Its a win10 problem. I also updated and had all my games and some other content removed from my drive. Just reinstall. Sucks but most saves should be there anyways.
