Done.
I received a reply from the developer, doesn't look promising: https://img.bi/#/P5T2P9v!mYffqAfqghCQy3RDcQj6bX5QhUJd2QNarHUwzW8I

Yeah, I received a similar response. Well, at least they seem to be aware of it. If people keep asking for it they might do something about it eventually.

Avalan: I would definitely like something changed. For me, the camera position seems to be neither third person, nor first, but horribly in between.

Ideally I'd like both a camera distance slider and FOV slider, but as people have been saying, we may have to wait for the REDKit and a mod :o(
I emailed them a request.
Usually when the camera doesn't look first person nor third person, it's because Geralt is over encumbred.
It can sometime happen that the camera gets stuck in this position.

But normal camera is quite alright.

Did you use http://en.cdprojektred.com/contact-support/ or an actual email address?

An odd effect, I think, from carrying too much. Although, maybe the strain is causing some sort of partial blacking out/tunnel vision :o)

I've heard of the effect getting stuck, but I never had that. Even after finishing the game I never did get used to the distance/FOV combination. I still found myself occasionally flicking the scroll wheel, thinking it would zoom out. Never did of course, but still.

No love with the 1.08 patch either:

GRAPHICS:
Fixes an issue where interiors would sometimes not display properly on the minimap.
Fixes an issue where certain world elements would sometimes be missing and noticeable visual glitches would be present while in Novigrad.

:(

also sent them a request about fov
Here is an FOV preset mod, case anyone's still interested.
FOV is perfectly fine.
