Umm, PC.
No FOV slider?

I have to play on 2560 x 1600 on a 30 inch monitor with massively close camera?

Does anyone know of a cfg tweak for changing fov (hopefully will do 120 fov)?

I would really appreciate it.

Pretty much the only complaint I have with the game so far, 4-5 hours in,

Thanks.

+1

I'm playing on a 30 inch monitor and the suffocating FOV is making me sick. This isn't the PS4 guys - and FOV slider is essential for PC!

You can look into config .xml files as suggested here. But I doubt FOV will be there, it's not FPS.

Thanks, will check.

Also, The Elder Scrolls Online is not a fps either, and it has an fov slider to 120 (130 is needed for 16:9 to look 'wide' in my opinion, but 120 is fine for 16:10).
FOV slider should be the first thing to be put in games before shipping, imo, since it actually makes people nauseous or gives them headaches.

ESO has one because it needs one for its FPS mode. TPS like this generally don't get FOV sliders
I'm not sure a FOV slider is necessary as much as a Geralt-to-camera slider. He takes up way too much of the screen, I want a more "zoomed out" look for a larger perspective. Contrary to popular belief, I find that more immersive too.
ESO has slider for both 1st person perspective, and for 3rd person perspective.
Even when the slider was set to default, I could not zoom out enough in 3rdPP to not get a headache.
Then saw the fov slider, and I could set everything exactly so it didnt make me sic/headache.

Just because YOU dont have this happen, and dont think its worth it in a TPS rpg game, others NEED it to be able to play and not get sic/headaches.

:(
Yes, I would welcome it also. I get pretty easily sick if stuff are too close and narrow.
Here we go again, same problems as Witcher 2. The camera way zoomed in behind the character. The devs got loads of feedback about that issue in Witcher 2 and they still do the same AGAIN?

I'm getting sick playing like this.

I wonder how long until someone releases a fix with RED kit though.
We are in 2015 and they can allow fov change?
that's just laziness from cdpr

Yeah, to be honest I would like a straight answer why they didn't include it. It's not like it's good publicity to leave things out but we live in an economy where it's best to meet a deadline then fix things afterwards.
I'm also looking for the same, feel like it is too zoomed in, otherwise great launch! Hopefully we'll get some kind of patch that sorts this, or someone more savvie than me can figure out a mod or something :)

But yeah, I would want an FOV or zoom out option as well and completely understand the OP raising it.

OMFG! Couldn't play witcher 3 because of work times and now I read this ... yeah, Witcher 2 was fucked up because of this and those arrogant idiots did the same shit again? No, i'm not going to use nicer words, because this shows how much they disrespect their customers and the complaints of their customers. So: FU cdrp

Worst of all is that they never fixed Witcher 2, a blood modder did..

It's understandable that they won't fix it now, they probably got their hands full on performance and stability optimization as well as bug hunting but still, they should at least take a note or they will just leave it to modders again. :(
