hi, maybe some 1 can help me with this problem.

i entering the cave with the witch and wanna fight against nithral. the video starts and than nothing.........

he didnt move or attack me. when i attack him, i hit and after this he call this dogs. i kill the dogs, nithral spells his


shield and he´s save from my attacks.

and nothing happens. he didnt move or attack me nothing. the witch attack him with her spells and when i attack him again i die because he´s save behind his shield . i play the pc version have all updates. i dont know what i can do. i start many times again but allways the same he didnt move or attack me

Hi, I have the same problem. Have been playing other quests, but will need this one to complete the game

if Nithral in his shield you can not attack him (or you die) , you can only attack again when he comes out from the shield. If he is in the sign kill the dogs of the Wild Hunt. Nithral comes out of his shield is regenerated and you must fight him again, three times.

If that is not so with you veryfied the installation.

I've killed all the dogs and am just hanging around. He never comes out of the shell, just stands in the little cupola in the center

It is a known issue which is caused by corrupt and/or damaged game files. In some cases it can also be caused by badly programmed or obsolete mods. Start by deleting all mods. Then do the following:

If you are playing on GOG Galaxy go to: More --> Manage installation --> Verify repair.

If you have downloaded the game manually you will need to download it again and reinstall (you can save your savegames - no pun intended).

The problem should now be fixed :-)
