mounet: WTF ???

CDPR make a new installers please... you have promised that
Agreed, I love CDPR, but this is getting silly now, if I need to reinstall TW3 I have to go from 1.10>1.22>1.24>1.30>1.31, so stupid, I should've waited for the GOTY version it seems...

Edit: forgot about updating the expansions/DLC... It's great it still receives updates, but seriously why so many installers?

Here comes another patch oh my!

What the hell! Why can't GOG release the game patched to 1.30 already? Like what others have said it's silly now to download the base game patched to 1.10 then patch to blah blah blah when GOTY buyers have a shiny one installer!

I both have the expansions thank you very much!
You lot never had to update Company of Heroes from the retail version, do you? 13 single patch files. oO

That's not the issue here buddy. I know you're aware that the GOTY version of the game has only one installer. What others are asking (specially those who are not using Galaxy) is why GOG can't release the base game already patched to 1.30?

That's it, we're not asking any other thing from GOG.

mounet: TO CD projekt red team,

Could you provide to us new installers with 1.30 directly ?
avatar
JudasIscariot: We should have them done by the end of the week if not sooner :)
Could someone tell me, where to find the promised new installers?
I Can see only V. 1.10 and tons of Patches.

Thank God i own the Game on Steam too - means lesser downloads and much more convenience.

Why shold i buy Cyberpunk 2077 an GOG? Steam seems to be the better way.

They're taking longer than expected but they will be added. If you want to have the same experience as you do on Steam, then you can use Galaxy to install and update the game as normal but that's up to you.

Seriously? When did you join GOG? GOG started as an alternative to other game distribution platforms. You just buy a game, download, then install no need for client software such as steam.

I think GOG's turning into the same monster they were trying to avoid. Not cool anymore.

I never said there was a need for the client. I only mentioned Galaxy in the first place because, if I read the post correctly, he wanted the same experience he had from Steam.

In simplest term he is asking for the easiest way to install the game. It's basically a one click install method. At the moment GOG's old method is prone to install error because of multiple patches.

I don't want to use Galaxy as I feel it's a betrayal of the old GOG I once knew, this is my own feeling though and may not reflect other users of GOG.

And, for him, Galaxy offers EXACTLY that: a one click install method and I only mentioned Galaxy since he mentioned "lesser downloads and much more convenience".

The installer update will take some time but it will get updated. Unfortunately, due to the sheer size of the game, it may take a while.

A fresh install of Witcher 3 + all DLC is at the moment 72gb, so it's not lesser or convenient.

I don't know, clean install downloaded 72gb. I calculated also those and it went over 50gb, so i don't know wheres the extra 20gb comes from.

And no, i didn't download any game extras.

You are downloading SOMETHING extra. The complete installation comprises:

Base game and patches == 30.3 GB
Free DLC and patch == 0.53 GB
Hearts of Stone and patch == 4.39 GB
Blood and Wine and patch == 7.43 GB

Total == 42.65 GB
