It would be helpful to get Witcher3_1.30.exe, BaW_1.30.exe and HoS_1.30.exe.

A free upgrade to GotY for those who own both DLCs would be more helpful.

Currently I have to execute 12 files to install the german Witcher 3 with all its DLCs.

edit: This sounds very demanding. I am happy that GOG and CD Projekt offer backups.

That's the actual issue. I'm sure gamers not using galaxy have archived older version of the game which they can patch. However, to make it more simple GOG should release a new base game already patched to 1.30 this is what I'm saying. GOG should also release the most current versions of Free DLCs, HoS, and BaW.

Why do we have to rely on 1.10 that's been released for ages?

Hickory: Now read again what MarkoH01 said. The game IS updated. There was no mention by MarkoH01 of the base installers.

gooddegenerate: That's his point though.. he's saying they SHOULD update the base installers to the latest version so that people don't have to install various patches.
But then his wording was not very good. "So there's a plan indeed to update the game to 1.30." would mean that the game itself is not updated which it is. Yes, the BASE INSTALLER is still at 1.10 (which is a hassle) and you need several patches but you can get THE GAME updated to 1.30.

BTW: Seeing that many owners of base and expansion would like cdpr to offer the GOTY version as well maybe you all should contact them so that they see that there really is a demand for it.

I sent GOG an inquiry regarding the Witcher 3 GOTY version of any possibility of getting a free upgrade. Maybe you should contact them as well.
It's been done, they declined.

Really slacking here, still no unified base + separate DLC installers at 1.30

Do they not understand, being a DRM free platform, that people will anyway be able to get the GOTY installers? Maybe the delay is because they are discussing internally, normally GOG is good at doing the sensible thing.
I was about to start the same topic :)

Please combine everything in one installer. Also 16 free dlc's could be inside the main file as everyone can have them anyway.

I read about an inquiry from another user and GOG told him that they cannot decide it one would have to contact CDPR. That is why I did exactly this.It seems however that myny have tried to ask GOG and only few contacted CDPR about this. Please do so:

http://en.cdprojektred.com/contact-support/

you can olso post on their facebook:

https://www.facebook.com/TheWitcher3/

or if you are German speaking on their German facebook:

https://www.facebook.com/DEthewitcher/?brand_redir=9659019330

Please let them all know that we want this and that we won't go away. (IN my experience many devs tend to wait as long as the customer gives up. Well, I tend to never give up ;)).

Yep, that's exactly what the GOTY installer is.

Some suit up in the CDPR office really messed this one up. Why burn so much goodwill by NOT allowing:

1) GOTY free for those, like me, who have the base game and the expansion pass.

2) An upgrade path for those with just the base game, or base game and only one expansion, to get the GOTY edition.

For another company, it might be par course for how things work (and those companies should be content knowing they don't get a penny off of me), but not for CDPR - I expect better of them. It is why I have supported them through GOG, but this support is not blind. You bet I'll be making a stink at http://en.cdprojektred.com/contact-support/, and you should too, because they're one of the few developers that actually listen when they make mistakes.

It seems that from now on i will treat CDPR as everyone should treat WB:

NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM, TILL THE GOTY EDITION COME OUT

As it will cost less, will be better and generically speaking, they don't deserve to be supported as a company that use such ridiculous policy such as this

My compliments CDPR, i will never buy a first edition from you, ever again
Nvmnd.

This is absolutely ridiculous. At least they promised us to do three installers but instead we now have ANOTHER patch for ver. 1.31. Is someone still counting how many installers and updates one have to install for this single game? Radio silence about this matter from GOG AND CDPR. Really unbelievable!!

1) Installer main game ver. 1.10
2) Update 1.10 -> 1.22
3) Update 1.22 -> 1.24
4) Update 1.24 -> 1.30
5) Update 1.30 -> 1.31
6) Language update
6) Installer Hearts Of Stone 1.22
7) Update Hearts of Stone 1.30
8) Installer Blood and Wine 1.22
9) Update Blood and Wine 1.30
10) Language pack Blood and Wine
11) Installation 16 DLC pack
12) Update DLC pack 1.30

This is far from user friendly - really far!
