The speakers are NOT the problem.
The speakers are getting their signal from your computer.
I've forgotten whether you using a laptop or desktop computer.
The speakers plug into your computer and they get their signal from either the onboard sound ( on the motherboard --- very common these days ) or from a sound card like a Soundblaster.
Since you don't seem to be aware of that, I would guess your computer has sound built into the motherboard.
You can < probably > go to the website of your computer maker --- or the motherboard maker if you have a desktop ---
and get the latest sound drivers from them.
If you had a separate sound card ( not so common anymore although it used to be ) you would do the same thing --- go to the website and get their latest drivers.
I'm betting you have sound built into the motherboard of your computer ( whether laptop or desktop ) and you < may > need the latest drivers.
That being said, I have sound built into this motherboard and have the latest drivers and STILL have the same problem.
Character dialogue is very very low in many cases.
Many people have complained.
Nothing appears to have been done.
But, I hear there is a huge major patch coming up 1.07 that is < supposed > to fix a lot of things. Hopefully this problem will be one of them.
Ritualisto: Seems like you only have installed the windows standard sound driver. If you have a onboard solution go on the website of your motherboard manufacturer and look for the latest sound driver. If you have a sound card go to the website of the sound card manufacturer. If you have already done this open this program. You should have more options there.
gelangweilt: these speakers have their own audio built in. there are no drivers necessary.
like i said, all games so far no problem. TW3 is the only game with this problem :-(
