Witcher 1 heavy spoilers post
CD Project Red You have made a masterpiece a game which will be used as a benchmark for rpg's. This aside i want to adress more pressing issue. I fell there is not enough fan service for the follower of the series. Let us start with witcher 1. The fist 2 acts of the witcher 1 and 3 feel the same no harm just pointing out. (Excluding white orchard) you are in a half wilderness area no mans land = outskirts of vizima, then we go to vizima and investigate salamandra or dandelion in this case vizima= novigrad. But im not here to list my deja vu's. I am really pissed of about the fact that geralt in wither 1 also adopted a child which was basically ciri's cousine brother and then kill him at the end. Why is this never discussed or brought up i dont believe that medivel batman is so stupid he could not figure it out and the only place we find a mention of him is the the book store in hirearch square in a form of a letter that is not enough, come on : ( . List of characters i would like to see from w1 in w3 is not a big one. Really wanted to see adda as radovid's wife. Lady of the lake ; ) abigale and shani.
Witcher 2
I dont know about his but i could not find iorveth nor saskia in w3 and only vernen was is this part. This made me feel like a fool for taking iorveths path in witcher 2. Also where is sheila detansevile she was not here too and wtf hapened to philipas face model is it just me or she looks like duckface eileheart her lips her face geometry looks different. Not alot of other thing but that iorveths path thig was bad, very bad. Felt sad.
Wither 3
Some problems in w3 are 1. Shit armors, i know you cannot make every armor epic and badass but making geralt look like father SANTA CLAUS BANDIT is bad cmon guys.

I just started playing The Witcher 1 like 2 days ago with a whole new perspective from having finished The Witcher 3. I know practically nothing about the story or happenings in The Witcher 1 or 2 as I've never played them through at all.

So thanks for writing this post and putting major spoilers in it without warning anyone that they're there by putting "***SPOILERS***" in the title and/or at the top of the post as you now just ruined some of the enjoyment of the game for me by spilling the beans about what sounds like an important part of the story.

Might not of ruined the game, but spoiled one surprise at least, I stopped reading after that so I dunno what the rest says.

Believe it or not I've got a friend whose first and middle name are "Bruce Wayne", and he is a huge fan of Batman and all of the Batman video games too. He's also on GOG but not on the GOG forums. :)

well shit editing my post I think you will have more fun now i have not really spoiled the ending for you. I you have played the w3 and playing this you will know that this kid and ciri are related the second you are introduced to him in the outskirts and then later you will know for sure but yeah sorry for killing part but you dont know how that is possible so i merely increased the spped of your w1 hype train ; )

You should really just go to CDPR's forums to write them a letter. Most of this is just gogs forums, I'm sure they pay more attention to their forums. I need to try to get my old account back on that site.

CDPR's more likely to see it there really. And they do listen to their fans.

Anyone else that wants to go, should first look over all the old stuff and how they treat their customer's, don't just go in there and blast them for things that are caused by third parties like for example Microsoft, or gog. CDPR is their own development team with different policies than other companies that they are now affiliated with.

Horrific corporatism has gotten into the mix. Saw this at the original release of TW2, and CDPR got sued by one of these giants for helping their fans, by removing DRM that was causing serious problems at release. PC version, before "Xbone" console got wind that this awesome series existed, for them to exploit.

The parent company is CD Projekt, which owns GOG.com subsidiary and the game studio which is CD Projekt RED. Both the game studio and GOG are "brothers" hierarchically.

CD Projekt RED ultimately sells their game through GOG.com, Steam, Origin, Uplay, as well as the consoles and the multitude of stores that sell the games for them. There are also dozens of Steam resellers such as Gamersgate, GMG, Humble Store, Amazon.(com|ca|dk|<dozens of others>), and practically every single store out there has it's own forums for customers to use. It would be impractical for any game studio to read dozens of forums spread across the web to interact with the millions of customers out there in various languages/stores around the world, not to mention various forums that aren't attached to stores directly such as reddit, etc. So even though GOG.com and CD Projekt RED are technically related to each other as business entities, there's no more reason for them to closely monitor GOG.com's forums than there would be for them to monitor 100 other forums out there that people chat up the game in.

The best place to get in contact with them is at the horse's mouth - their own forums, same as any game developer. Anything posted in other forums including here on GOG will be at the very least - one degree of separation from them and may or may not be seen or passed along. They'll always pay a lot more attention to their own forums so it's the best place to communicate. If someone doesn't feel like using their forums and is comfortable posting in 3rd party forums including GOG realizing they may never see it, that's fine too of course. Chances are if someone truly has a genuine problem it isn't going to affect just one single person, so someone else out there is likely to encounter it also and hopefully at least one person will document it on CD Projekt RED's own forums and via their official bug report link.

I totally would not expect them to read every post made on GOG.com, Steam.com, Uplay.com, Origin.com and the countless other sites though, they'd probably have to hire more people to just read all of that than the entire head count of people that designed the game itself, and that's not including compiling the information all into a useful format for the developers to digest. It just doesn't scale.

Well, knowing of something, and seeing that with your own eyes are two different things. That's why I prefer not to watch any trailers, as developers [censored] [beep] of [skipped] put too many spoilers inside - difference between seeing it with your eyes in trailer and in game is very slight. Believe it or not, there is lady named Sarah O'Connor who posted a note about Volkwagen factory incident with a robot that killed a worker, and she had no idea about Terminator series. Happened like yesterday.
